yeah, i agree. the lower level of Element is one of the best small venue in the city. Aside from the gorgeour interio. what i love most is its warmness and awesome acoustic. we will there this past saturday. i couldn't believe that i can acutally speak without literally yelled at my friends.... music is definitely awesome. Electronica DJ set infused with live performance (Saturdays, i believe). Everytime I go to Club Element it's usually for something special like their Thursday POPulation parties, and always have such a great time. You should party there and battle me on the dancefloor. Pros: Sound system and room to dance Cons: If you are paying for them, the drinks can be pricy. more

Was at Element on Thursday and I was amazed by all the live performances happening during the entire night ! The dancers were hot, the FIRE performance was smoking hot (literally...), the acrobat dangling from the mezzanine railing was a real surprice and the sound system was banging !! I have never felt so comfortable in a club environment like I do at Element. Everyone there is out to have a great time (including the staff). From the bouncers to the bartenders the vibe is chill. Lots of Flash! The ambiance at this club is fantastic. The decor - impeccable. There are plenty of different rooms as not to get bored or feel like you're in a black hole. Fabulous disco ball too! The staff was friendly enough, but unfortunately, it took me 4 bartenders to make me a drink that was worthy of the high prices. The DJ was all over the place but acceptable. The scene was great for dancing with friends, not particularly wild, as most guys had t-shirts or button-downs (an oasis in the LES if you don't like the punk-rocker, dirty hellhole scene). I didn't get the feeling this was a good place to meet people since I didn't have one conversation in 3 hours, but c'est NY, right?
