Worth the drive 3/21/2006

Before moving to Royal Oak, I lived in Berkley. My husband and I would visit Elaine's and I loved their broad selection of bagels, especially the savory flavors, like the veggie. Once we moved, we started going to the large-chain shops, and quickly realized how much we missed Elaine's. We now make the drive to Berkley to get the bagels we love. more

Love the fresh Bagels 12/4/2005

I love the fresh bagels you get from Elaine's bagels. I try to go there on every pay day to get a bagel. The only think I do not like is the parking lot. It is very small and they are always very busy in the moring. Other than that the workers are fast and they try to get you in and out of there. The price is also reasonable. more

I am a bagel fanatic and have tried every other brand, and Elaine's Bagels wins, hands down. Why, because their bagels are full of flavor, have a wonderful texture, they aren't expensive either , and they have a nice selection of flavors too. And nothing tastes better than a warm bagel straight from the oven! more

Huge, delicious bagels!! 8/19/2005

This local owned bagel shop is family owned. The employees are all very friendly even when they are super crowded in the morning. The bagels are always fresh and huge and yummy. They have interested flavors such as raspberry white chocolate, bacon and cheese, and jelly bean. They also serve up a great cup of coffee. All the leftover bagels are given to local soup kitchens which is another reason to visit this generous family owned business. more
