I love this place! I've been coming here for 7 years now and I have never had a problem with them. Their salsa is the best and their food is always fresh. I love the service and even the to go food is awesome. I am picky with my food and I love it there. more

The management and the wait staff display alot of obnoxiousness. One evening while my extended family and I was patronizing the establishment my 5 yr old nephew innocently asked why they werent speaking english well the management overheard him and she seemed unfriendly for the remainder of our visit. Pros: chips and mild salsa good Cons: staff/management service more

Not Very Good 6/6/2008

The way you can tell if a Mexican restaurant will be any good is the quality of the salsa and chips first presented. I have found this to be true over and over again. Great chips and salsa almost invariably means good food will follow. Unfortunately the salsa at the El Tejano is mediocre to rather nasty with an after taste that was somewhat or ?day old? tasting in my experience. The green salsa was ?ok?, nothing special. The red salsa's were the worst. The chips were fine and typical. Pros: Walking distance from Day's Inn Cons: Poor quality, poor value more
