Best Indian food on the Westside 10/20/2005

I have been to many Indian restaurants and this by far is the best. I have brought 3 other friends who all now claim it is their fave Indian restaurant too. I want to try their other food, but I am so happy with the Chicken Korma, Saag Paneer, Lamb Biryani, and Raita (BEST RAITA - get some and bring it home) - that I haven't wanted to try anything else. Also, their mint chutney and tamarind sauce (is that what you call them) or also the best of any restaurant. Delivery or Eat-in - the food is always outstanding. We eat here once a month (we also get coupons in mailers). We've been coming here for years. The food is great. We like the buffett, too. My favorite is chicken makhani. I also loveo the various naans they offer. The service is friendly (I think it helps that they recognise us). Pros: lunch buffett, curries, open later/on holiday Cons: parking more

Best Indian food I ever had 10/18/2002

The title says it. I've eaten Indian in many places in the U.S. and England, and I swear this is the best Indian I've had anywhere. The staff are so friendly too. The restaurant is small and cozy and the food is unbelievable. They also deliver. My absolute favorite entree here is the mushroom masala. Pros: amazing food, good prices, great staff Cons: hole in the wall, not much parking more

Good Indian 7/11/2002

Standard Indian fare. Sorry, I don't get too excited about Indian - the best place for Indian food is London! This place is cheaper than Gate of India in SM -which is way overpriced in my book (they KNOW they can count on the Brits coming over from King's Head for a post-drink curry!) I got takeout one evening and they gave me a free glass of wine will I waited! Now that's what I call service! more
