Not Cosmetic or Plastic Mexican Food 7/13/2006

Oh, I must disagree with the authenticity that the reviewer says is not spectacular. While Don Amelio's is more "cosmetic" in its all over appearance and cuisine, El Ranchero is both superb in its food and presentation. Their guacamole is to die for - the lime is sublime! The Lunch Menu is portioned as well as the evening menu in most other establishments and if you want Chili Relleno - El Ranchero is the only place to go! more

Decent but not the Best 4/2/2006

It is a very good mexican restaurant, but I would recommend going to Don Amelio's which is right around the corner. The food is good, but I don't feel it is authentic enough and the service is not that spectacular. They are located right near Napolis, and the booths to the Toll Bridge in Parkersburg. more
