Once a year for 10 years we've eaten at Einstein's for brunch, usually The Veranda Platter. In the last couple of years, though, service has slowed to a crawl. Pros: Patio dining more

This is one of my newest favorite locations to wine & dine with da fellas. I've visited this location several times over the past months & each time it gets better. Definitely, recommend this location for lunch and/or dinner during the weekday or the weekends. Pros: Great Staff, Live Music, Patio, Varity of Seating Areas more

We live in the neighborhood and always try to come back to Einstein's to give it another chance. The service is conistently poor. The kitchen rarely gets an order correct and the management could care less. I ordered a plain turkey burger and asked for it plain twice. It came out with cheese and onion spread. I sent it back and it came back uncooked and when I cut into it there was a piece of white plastic in the meat. The waiter took it off the bill, but could have cared less. Sorry, but that was the last time we will be in. You just lost ten loyal customers. With so many new attractive patios in the neighborhood Einstein's really needs to get their act together! We went in here for a work lunch and the food was out in 10 minutes! The patio was amazing. The fresh air and openness was awesome. Food was so good, I came back on the weekend for brunch (Bloody Mary Bar!). I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Staff was very attentive, from the hosts up to the managers. The food here is so so. It's not over the top but not bad either--upscale bar food best decribes it. The Saturday and Sunday brunch is good on nice days when the patio is open. It's more about the atmosphere than the food. It's mostly a gay crowd with a lot of table hopping and visiting. If you have a problem with the gay lifestyle you will hate this place. The bar at nights is a good place to start the evening, but it's not a late night place. Service is hot and cold. At times I have found it to be excellent, at other times its horrible. We go here for the patio atmosphere and a drink with friends. more

Don't heed the Citysearch warning about not ordering the ""serious entrees""! I went here with a big group of friends this past weekend, and we each ordered an entree dish (nobody ordered burgers, sandwiches, etc.). Those who ordered the ribeye loved it - marinated and cooked to perfection; the special of the day (surf & turf) was fantastic as well. Seafood dishes were delicious, including the coconut shrimp and the tequila shrimp. Everything on the menu looks great though, so I wouldn't mind going back to try the burgers. Great wine and beer selection, as well as specialty drinks and martinis. I love the patio, but the construction directly across the street is a bit of a bummer. Service was wonderful and entertaining, ambiance is great as well. Only complaint is that the food was a bit expensive for what it was (entrees range from $14-22). I haven't eaten there in awhile (due to bad experiences in the past), so maybe things have changed...The food is pretty good at this place, but that's only if you get past the extremely pretentious hosts. Your best bet is to go when there is no wait. Contrary to what you are told over the phone, they do NOT honor call-ahead seating or reservations. Pros: Good food Cons: Snobby service more

I must say in all of my visits to see my Brother, which lives across the street from Einstein's, I have never had a bad experience. The food depending on what you order is terrific. It?s a place you can go and feel as if you are in a European city. The architecture that has transformed this side walk cafe into one of Atlanta?s most beautiful restaurant?s is very uplifting and a place I could sit half of day and absorb the atmosphere. Every time I walk in the door, from the managers on down this is a wonderful dining experience. There?s always much more food on your plate than you can eat and it?s never prepared anything but perfect for me. If you?ve never been to Einstein?s, you have to try it. This place has a so so Brunch. The menu is over priced. We went today early to get ahead of the crowd at 10 AM and did reservations. They open at 10 AM on Sunday. The place was empty. The reason is that alcohol is not served until after noon. That means you can avoid all the drunks by going before noon. We had a good server but the coffee was not hot or fresh. The orange juice was very pulpy and sour. We did in fact tell the manager when they came to the table to check on our visit. They seem to be interested and apologized. The food came out fast enough which was like ten minutes. It was luke warm but not hot. The biscuits were cold like they had been made the day before so that was not good. I was not impressed. I like the parent company who has several local places in the area but really this place is not great. It is run of the mill and really has lost the edge. The staff seems alright and the hostes was nice. The place is just not energetic and the staff seems stuck in a funk. I really do not care to go here anytime soon. If I have anyone in for the warmer months then maybe go for drinks on the patio but not the food. The patio is still very nice but that is not going to make the food better. Sorry but this place has really died. They need to be pumped up and get the staff on the move to be more on top of fast and hot food and drinks. We are from NYC, and yes we love Sunday Brunch. We thought this would be a good spot, for an early Fall Day! Boy, we were wrong. We were rushed to the bar, to wait for a table? There were plenty available on the patio? I guess this is their ploy, to make you buy a drink. The bar area was a complete unorgainzed mess. And the attitude of the bartender, well that's another story. I had to remind the hostess twice, we were still waiting. Finally we were seated. And two waiters were fighting over who is suppose to wait on us. It didn't really matter, because the poor soul knew nothing about the menu. Egg dishes arrived cold. Needless to say, this place is a zoo. Come to find out it's owned by Metrotainment, and they have several other locations. If this is a sampling, no thanks from two New Yorkers! We have been to Einstein's twice, for lunch and brunch. Service is always fantastic. Manager came up to us each time to make sure everything was good. Fantastic menu for brunch. Go hungry and make a reservation! more

The restaurant was pretty crowded, but we were seated immediately with our reservations. I wasn't crazy about the 2 person booth by the bar, but it was in an out of the way corner and was ""cozy"" and not too bad. The times I've been to Einsteins in the past the service has been slow. Tonight was an exception. Our server was very attentive. We got the Artichoke & Parmesan dip with tortilla chips as an appetizer. It was served fresh and warm. My dining companion had the Ribeye, which he described as ""good."" I had the Pecan Chicken Salad with orange balsamic dressing, which was excellent. It was the best salad I've had in some time. The blend of cranberries, oranges, spring mix, and other ingredients worked well together. There was a very diverse crowd including theater goers and neighbors. Don't let the fancy dishes on the menu distract you. Go for the ""Einstein Grill"" sandwich for your culinary nirvana. It's easily the best sandwich I've ever had. The brunch is nice but expensive. The bar is a nice place to hang out while you wait for a table. Don't sit outside unless you feel like breathing the exhaust from the traffic. Pros: Einstein Grill!!!!! more

I had brunch here on Saturday during peak time and was seated quickly and did not wait long for the food. I had the French Toast that was amazing. The muffins that they give while you wait were so yummy! I usually avoid all of the complimentary rolls or muffins at restaurants but these muffins were definately worth it. Pros: ambience more
