Einstein Bagels is a great place for, of course, bagels and breakfast accoutrements. These bagels are the real thing...chewy crust, soft inside. They offer great spreads, juices, yogurts, fruit, and other related food items. But I also like this place for lunch. So much so that I started using the punch card for a free sandwich when you buy the designated number. Sandwiches can be on bagels or bialys and come with chips and a pickle slice. It's good food, and this shop is just across from Northwestern University, so its usually staffed with friendly college students. There is outdoor seating in the nice weather, too.
