I know they did good work on my car but they was too expensive. I cant believe that my transmission cost that much but it does run much better. I dunno, I just feel like it was expensive.... more

thanks again mike for working with me on the price, I was hoping I could get the 3 year warranty but the price was just a little too high for me. thanks for lowering the price though so that I could afford the repairs I really appreciate that and my family does too! you cant imagine how mad my daughter was at me when i told her she had to ride the bus for a few days! more

good work but a little slow 9/4/2012

the work took a little longer than I would have liked but they did do a good job on my car. I did have to take it back because it was leaking a little fluid but it really wasnt a big deal it was fixed in less than 10 minutes and I havent had any issues since. more

you kno i dont like 2 spend my money but dem boys at edwards took care of me and my ride. that stupid thang was jumpin and buckin and doin all sorts of crazy sutff but dem boys fixed it right and made sur i had a ride while dey was fixing it. thansk eds you good wit me! more

these guys were pretty good but i have to say that the price was a little high to my liking(to be honest i dont know what a fair price is) however the customer service was great and i did feel comfortable with the work that they did. more

OMG thank you edwards for saing my baby!!!! my poor car was running so bad :( it was jerking all over the place and didnt want to move i thought she was done for. i have had this car forever and i just love this car thanks for saving her!!! she needed a transmission and it was expensive but it had to be done and now i can drive my favorite car again!!! :):):) more

Being a guy i hqate to admit when I don't know what is going on with my car but thank god there are people out there like edwards that will take care of you without you having to worry about being ripped off. I knew that I had some trnasmission issues (the car would barely pull itself lol!!!) but eds was cool enough to tow it for me and then check it out(did I mention the checkout was free?) the repairs were cheaper than i was fearing, turns out it was an external part that had just broke since it was made out of plastic. more

no runaround here! 5/29/2012

So get this, I take my care to one shop for this "clunking" sound that my car car makes when it turns to the right and only the right mind you. Now they keep my car for over a week, never call me and finally when I call them to complain about their customer service or lack thereof they tell me that after "extensive diagnostics" they have determined that my car needs a transmission at the tune of over 3,000 dollars!!!! Now I'm not a mechanic and i don't claim to be one but if the car only makes the clunking when I'm turning right how is it the transmission? So anyways, i picked my car up because i didn't trust me after that point and i decide to take it elsewhere, this is where edwards comes in to save the day! edwards were so much more friendly than the last shop, everyone greeted me with a smile which says a lot for someone who had the worst experience ever at the last shop she was at!!!! Turns out the problem was an axle not a transmission and I could have bought 30 axles for the price of what the other shop wanted to fix my transmission THAT WASN'T BROKEN!!!!! Thanks edwards I'll be back but hopefully not too soon lol! more

just want to say. 5/29/2012

2 be honest i didn't know what 2 do with my car the thing was makin all sorts of noise. when I pressed on the gas it would just sit there n not move but the guage would go real high and the engine would rev real high but the car woudlnt move. for a minute i just called around and got prices and edwards was real honest with me, they said they couldnt tell wat was wrong wtih my ride unless they saw it but they offerd to look at it for FREEEEEEE!!! all the other places wanted to charge me just to say what was wrong wit it so you know i jumped on that! so they towed my car in, checked it out and turns out it was just some part on the outisde that fixed my problem. im not gonna lie i dont know jack about transmissions but edwards was honest and up front with me n thats how any business shud be! more

Just wanted to let people know that southport has an over the top team. The preofessionalism sense of urgency and candid analysis of my major transmission problem(competitor to edwards) which i did not disclose to anyone, was teken care of in less than 2 hours time and was exactly the minor repair Marty and Dean analyzed. The call center had me set up in 20 minutes, and the team fit me in to the days repairs on the spot and even dropped me back off at my place 5 miles away and brought the car to me after fixing it. I will promote edwards absolutely/this is so out of the box uncommon I was compelled to let you know what kind of team this place has representing it. Thank you. more

edwards was a great place to go they made sure that i was treatd fairly! mike was a super nice guy he told me everyting that was going on wit my car and how much it all cost to fix my ride. he even got me a ride home when i didnt want to wait nemore at the shop. i tell all my friends to go to edwards becuz mike is such a great guy! more
