Great for kids, cheap 5/1/2011

It's small, but there's tons of authentic stuff. The trail in the back that leads to a pond is also neat. Loved the gift shop!! Plenty of $1-$5 fun souvenirs for kids/friends. Also, donations are suggested, and there's no set price for donations (i.e. unlike MET). Great rainy day activity with the kids. more

Nothing much! 8/24/2005

I just visited this place and I didn't find anything very interesting here. Just the same old things that you see wheneven you go to places like museums and art galleries. Or maybe it was because this place had dim lighting. No truly good paintings. Some abstract art which like all other abstract art paintings, made no sense. Why do people even bother with abstract art? There is no purpose to it! My dog can paint better and it would actually resemble something like maybe even a bone or Puppy Chow! Nothing valuable there at all. Nothing over $3000 by my estimates. more

Englightened 8/24/2005

I was browsing around for museums to go to on Judy's Book the other day in the Middlesex Area and noticed that there was one about Thomas Edison right in the Edison area! Having lived here for more than ten years, I was astonished that I didn't have any idea about this Tower at all. So this past weekend, I visited there, and it was a wonderful experience. There was the basics that we knew about Edison already, but then there was more inside information about his life and the different trials he went through. There's a gift shop located at the top, and I brought a few knickknacks for my friends, which they were delighted with. When we left at night, the tower was already lit, and it was beautiful. Definitely worth a visit! more

Great Monument 8/16/2005

Some people know light was invented by Thomas Alva Edison, but most don't know it was in Edison, NJ and there is a tower here. The tower is really good. There is a small trial there to see and the tower which lights up at night. There is also a small gift shop where you can buy souvenirs. I would recommend anyone to go visit this tower. more
