HORRIBLE company with TERRIBLE customer service 10/27/2010

Horrible, horrible, horrible experience with this company. Rude and unprofessional men the day of the move. They yelled profanity in front of my toddlers. They told us our furniture was cheap. They scratched our hardwood floors, broke our front storm door and scratched several pieces of furniture. They broke the legs off of two dressers. They also broke the lid on my $1800 kiln. I called to speak to the owner before the movers left our house. Despite his assurances that day over the phone, over a month after the move and they are refusing the fix any of the damage or pay to have it fixed. They are only paying a small portion of the cost to have the kiln lid replaced even though the movers intentionally moved it the way I told them would cause damage. HORRIBLE COMPANY with terrible customer service. BEWARE! Spend a little extra and go with a better company. more

Went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied. 9/18/2009

I was very pleased with Economy Movers. I initially found them on the Internet and got an estimate from them as well as 4 other companies. Their estimate was the most reasonable and, when I told my daughter about them, it turned out that she had used them previously and highly recommended them. The guys did a great job. They packed things well and bent over backwards to put things where I wanted. They said that if I changed my mind, they would move it back. I had never used movers before, so this was a new experience for me. They were so friendly and helpful -- it was all very positive. I have no complaints about Economy Movers. They went above and beyond, putting in the extra effort to make sure that I was satisfied. more

Fantastic, comfortable experience. 9/16/2009

When I called Economy Movers, I was in a very bad situation because I was in foreclosure on a home of 49 years. I had to move from a large 4-bedroom with a yard to an apartment, so cost was a factor but I also was looking for a company that would provide good service. I found Economy Movers in the Yellow Pages, saw their prices and called to set it up. Everything worked out beautifully. The 2 young men who helped me move were fantastic and made me feel much more comfortable about the experience I was going through. They got me moved into my apartment and were flexible in helping me organize the furniture. They were friendly and talkative but they moved everything quickly, which was important to me because I had to do the move in the time frame that fit my budget. It was a dream for me -- because I have all daughters -- to have these young men helping me. I have already recommended Economy Movers. They did a fantastic job! Donna Ysebaert more
