The old Eating factory used to be in Bellevue but the owner of the building sold it under them to a development company for a new high rise. So THE EATING FACTORY had to relocate....

I can't put my finger on it, but I've been to this place maybe twice now, and I just don't care for it. The sushi seems institutional--sort of like the kind you get at the grocer...

Eatin Factory is now the new BLUE FIN in Northgate Mall 12/16/2007

The old Eating factory used to be in Bellevue but the owner of the building sold it under them to a development company for a new high rise. So THE EATING FACTORY had to relocate. Their new location is 'BLUE FIN" in Northgate Mall and their food and sushi is even better. They are located next to JC Penny. more

We love the Eating Factory. We went there for lunch yesterday and it was gone...... does anyone know if they moved or closed? more

Institutional Sushi 4/1/2006

I can't put my finger on it, but I've been to this place maybe twice now, and I just don't care for it. The sushi seems institutional--sort of like the kind you get at the grocery store. It's bland with not much variety and overall just strikes me as way too institutional. Not worth the price. The idea of the buffet is good, so if you're looking for that, try Todai in Redmond. Not much to hoot and holler about here. more

Best Local Oriental Buffet 3/18/2006

This is one of the higher setting oriental resta urants and is comparable to that of Todai. Todai, costing $20 each, just doesn't beat the restaurant mainly because of the price. You will spend about 1/3 to 1/4 less if you go here.They have a huge selection- sushi bar, noodles, soups, and hot foods. A noticible trait are the lines. The wait for my family was around 20 minutes- there are few empty tables. more

the better Asian buffet 8/17/2005

The two most well known buffet restaurants in Bellevue are probably the Eating Factory and Todai. And I think the Eating Factory is definitely better than Todai. Located in a little shopping plaze on NE 8th Street, the Eating Factory might be easier to miss if you didn't see their not-so-big sign by the street. But if you do find the place, you'll find a good selection of sushi, rolls, chinese cooked dishes and desserts. Although its selection might be slightly smaller than Todai's, most of their dishes tastes a lot better and fresher. The price is also $2 cheaper than Todai's. more
