Eastway Wrecker Svc

Eastway Wrecker is a great company. After an accident you are responsible to pay the bill in full, move the vehicle and dispose of it yourself. Sometimes they allow you to pay a portion of the charges and they will dispose of your vehicle if you cannot pick it up, Eastway will aso work with you to trade out your rims/tires and get your sterio equipment which most other towing companies do not allow. However, they will not allow customers to go out on the lot and strip the vehicle or leave it sitting on the ground. They are great to work with! more

Eastway Wreckers at Wilkinson, are nothing more than a bunch of evil crooks. They are rude, incompetent and just a pain in the a**. They find it amusing to make a few bucks off people's misfortunes like nearly getting away alive from car accidents. Even after paying all the bills and sorting out money matters, they tried to refuse to return the modifications that were put on my car (even though I had the original parts with me to put back on the car). Each one of the staff members lied about their policies and tried to withhold my property from me. Previously, they told me on the phone that I will be allowed to have my speakers and expensive rims back if I paid the towing and file fees and sign my title over and after I did, their so called employees hounded me in the parking lot, yelling at me to not take any of my stuff off the car, cussing at me and slamming doors in my faces. Never in my life have I been harassed like this! They threatened me time and time, and their bitch managers did not do anything to stop their hooligans from bothering me. Finally, they stole some of my property and told me to get off their ""F***ING LOT"". I am glad I called the police on them and will be filing a better business report against them. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THESE LOWDOWN CROOKS! more

Horrible towing service very rude tow drivers! They are contracted with the city of Charlotte to go around and tow people. I was walking back to my car one night and as we were walking I saw a car almost get towed but the guy came out and the tow driver took off the hook and let him go. Then we got to my car a block or two down the street and they were in the process of hooking up my car! I ran over to the guy and told him hold on I'm leaving ill move it and before he said anything he proceeded and finished hooking me up. Then he got off the ground and said too late. I told him he didn't have me hooked when I came over and that he was still on the ground when I came over. He was extremely rude and said I had you hooked. I said if you had my hooked why were you on the ground. He avoided me and I told him to call the police then because I'm not paying this. All in all he lied to the police and said he had me hooked and I had to pay to have him release my car. Very unethical behavior. The scam they have going on is the parking meter lady was going around writing parking tickets and as she found the cars she was waving him over to try and tow people. When I walked over he quickly removed my parking citation to make it look like they weren't working together. If you need a tow use someone else. Don't support an unethical company like this that goes around and screws people. I am not sure of my driver's name but on the receipt it looks like JP. It also seems odd that on the Eastway wrecker receipt they put my parking citation from the city of Charlotte. You would think I pay each one separate since they shouldn't be related. more
