I can't lie I love this place. The service, food and enegry is always 5 star. The beer selcetion does not hurt either. I have yet to taste a dish that I don't like.

No! No! Tacky management, driest nachos in town for $11, broke-down waitress, karaoke guy with snippy attitude -> fun night turned into a bummer :-( \r Us: we'd like 12 piece lemon pepper chicken wings\r CT: we're out of chicken wings\r Us: Why are those people eating chicken wings?\r CT: Oh, we just got those - I forgot to tell you\r Us: Well, actually these nachos are really dry for $11 and what we really wanted was chicken wings\r CT: Oh, well..., sorry, we'll try to do better next time, most people like them, I can offer you a little ($2.75) discount. (What?! No chicken wings?!)\r No wonder it's kinda empty on Saturdays! more

Thieves! 3/18/2011

Stay away from Corner Tavern unless you like getting ripped off. I just found out this week that the tips go to the restaurant owner and not the servers. Yes, you may pay the same amount, but it's still unethical. 100% of the tip money should go to the servers. If the restaurant is not making enough money, they should be upfront about it and charge more - not be sneaky and steal your money. more

Little Five Corner Tavern 1/31/2010

The manager was incredibly irritable. I was the DD last night and it was obvious the manager did not do well with handling her drunken patrons from my friends to other people sitting at the bar. Seems as though she is in the wrong field because she was rude, her wait staff and bar tender both said she was rude to us and others on a regular basis. I live blocks away from this bar and me and my friends will never be back. Cons: Manager was rude more

Great karaoke, Good Food, Good Mix Of People 1/27/2009

This is a wonderful neighborhood bar near the East Point train station. I went there to eat initially because I'd won a gift certificate to The East Point Tavern but have since returned many times. The food is good. \r Saturday's karaoke is really good. I like the sound system there. There's enough participation to keep it interesting. A truly diverse crowd that somehow meshes. There's a good groove going on! Pros: Good food, karaoke, friendly people Cons: I think you can smoke more

Great Neighborhood Tavern 11/18/2008

Everytime I go to the EPT Tavern I have a great time. The variety of beers, food and people makes this bar awesome. They have trivia, pool tables, karaoke, poker, and live music. I meet great people all the time. The entire staff has the best customer service. If you ever in the Airport Area, you should definately stop by and have a cool time. more

Coolest EPT Bar 11/18/2008

East Point Corner Tavern is a great neighborhood bar. They have cool a** bartenders(Heather & Chris)! I love Adult trivia on Fridays and Karaoke on Saturdays ( wait to you see the Michael Jackson guy...Hilarious) and pool tables. The Burgers and the Fried Artichokes are the best, as well as the rest of the food. Mostly, I love the mixture of people, it reminds me of the East Point I grew up in. more

great music 10/7/2007

This place has great food and atmosphere. We saw two great singer/guitar players from Athens, GA. Spencer Frye and Jason Beckham are two of the best song writers we have seen in a while. We also saw Jade Lemmon from the rock band Injected hanging out. This is a place to see stars and to discover up and coming stars! Pros: Great music more

Perfect bar. Glad it's in my neighborhood. 2/3/2007

No matter who I take here, they always love it. My last date was transported by what was playing on the jukebox -- he said it reminded him of his college days in a very good way (he has great taste in music). It's the only bar I've been to where I've not had to battle to get a pool table. Staff is awesome, friendly, willing to make anything you can describe in a drink. You can park in the back and sneak up the rear stairs if parking out front is not available. Never been for trivia or tournament pool nights, but have seen a twosome playing guitar in the past. Great place. Pros: Adventurous bartenders, great music, all kinds of people more

Better than ""The Earl"" 11/17/2006

Just moved to ""the Point"" and am becoming a regular here. Their food may really be the best bar grub in Atlanta. The chicken sandwiches are noteworthy and the specials always please. Be sure to order a side salad with your meal. It is surprisingly fresh and tasty. I guess the burgers are fine too. Ambiance is groovy. People of all lifestyles hang out there, you can smoke and the waitstaff are cooly tattooed and jaded. The high density Belgian brew on tap is a must when you want a quick buzz. Feels like home. Pros: Food and above ground terrace Cons: Can't think of any more

best bar in East Point 6/26/2006

I love Corner Tavern. The space is massive and wonderful. The patio is one of my favorites in Atlanta. Food is consistently good. Service is always great. Poker night is fun. Good jukebox selection too. Pros: great service, food, ambience more

Great Neighborhood Restaurant/Bar 5/16/2006

Very friendly staff seats you promptly or tells you to sit anywhere you want. Nice bar with attentive barkeep and pretty good drink selection. Menu is fairly standard, but tasty and never disappointing. The music isn't cranked up and you can have a mostly normal conversation without shouting. Never seems too packed with people or too deserted. Nice outdoor seating in the back. The usual pub/bar stuff like darts, pool (3 or 4 tables), jukebox, and regular events like trivia night. Each time I go I tell myself I should go more often. Maybe just a tiny bit hard to find the first time... It's upstairs, so you only see the front door from Main Street. It's in the last building on the left before the traffic light at Cleveland Ave, across Main from East Point MARTA station. Main is one-way (north) for about three blocks in this area. Pros: Friendly staff, Good food, Good drink more
