East Meets West

The Worst...I placed an order, repeated the order and got a price and was told the food would be at the house in 45 mins. When the food finally came it was cold and wrong. I called and told them about THEIR mistake. The girl said they would send the correct order. I asked them what should be done with the wrong food, told me to do whatever I wanted to do with it. I gave it to my next door neighbor. When I got back my husband told me the restaurant called and told him it would be $6.00 more...I told them there is no way we were going to pay for their mistake. I called them back and had an argument with the guy who took the order and told him in no way I was paying for this. I had already paid for the wrong food and now this. NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will never order from them again, nor will I be sending people there. For $6.00 they lost a regular customer and future customers. more

love this place. been going here for 9 yrs. amazing food and not expensive. you have to try the salt & pepper calamari in the dining room!! it's amazing!! also the shrimp & scallops in Garlic sauce is great, and the triple delight. I love the menu! I always get the cono sur pino noir their...a really nice red wine. you have t try it for yourself enjoy! and save room for dessert --- brownie sundae, chocolate suffle, gelato YUMMM Pros: parking, great food, service, atomosphere. Lets be fair: I dont like nor eat chinese food. But this isnt chinese food, or the best way to describe it: Chinese food italian style. First of all the quality of the ingredients is obvious from the start, then the variety and the creations. THE FOOD AT EAST MEETS WEST ON WOODHAVEN BLVD IS UNBELIEVABLE. IVE BEEN EATING THERE FOR ABOUT 9 YEARS NOW. THEY HAVE THE BEST FOOD YOU HAVE EVER TASTED. THE GENERAL TSO CHICKEN IS SOMETHING YOU CRAVE AND HAVE TO HAVE IT WEEKLY. IM SO HAPPY TO SEE THEY EXPANDED THERE TAKEOUT INTO A BEAUTIFUL SIT DOWN RESTAURANT ALSO.
