I went to East Coast to get my nipples pierced about 3 months ago. The woman working the front desk was extremely rude, and honestly after just seeing the inside of the shop I almost didn't want to get pierced there. The only reason I did, was because I have 3 friends that got piercings there that went fine. But as my new piercer says, some people can heal anything. The studio is not very well-lit, and it just doesn't give you a sense of ""cleanness"" at all. There were a bunch of stuck-up kids there with unhappy looking piercings just hanging out all over the place, and the piercer didn't even give me any kind of jewelry options. The placement of my piercings was ALRIGHT, but after going to an actual APP certified piercer, I was told that they could have been pierced deeper. The jewelry that was in my nipples was some of the worst quality I've ever seen. I had to have the jewelry swapped out way before it should have been, cos I probably would have had way more problems if I kept East Coast's jewelry in. It was some sort of VERY low quality silver, curved barbells (which aren't good for nipples anyways, despite the material) and the worst part was that it was externally threaded. The aftercare instructions I received were also very off. I don't know how their tattoo work is, but definitely do not go here for piercings unless you want them to have wonky placement, terrible jewelry, and get overcharged anyways.
Pros: the piercer was polite/made me feel comfortable
Cons: TERRIBLE jewelry quality/ questionable cleanliness
