It seems that gift certificates for Earthling Day Spa are required for anyone having a birthday, getting married, or graduating from high school. At least that's when I got all of mine, plus a few extras thrown in over the years for just being a great person (at least that's my assumption).
The GC's are nice. They're on parchment paper and rolled up to look like a scroll--much more personal than the plastic cards that are so popular these days.
The spa is very nice, very quiet, and very intimate. During the times that I've visited, the 30 minute massages lasted 45, the 45-minute massages lasted 60, and the 60 minute massages lasted an hour and fifteen. Not bad!
I've also gotten the best facial in the world, the best manicure in the world, and the best pedicure in the world there. I wish there was more parking (They're in the shopping center with Eckerds and Blockbuster Video). Can be a bit daunting to find parking during a busy Saturday afternoon.
Book early because they book up fast. And buy some of their good smelling lotions and potions. They're expensive, for sure, but consider a $45 lipstick as a "personal reward" for being the wonderful soul that you are.
