Well, you can eat here for about $5.00, and eat pretty well, if you order a special. It's a very quaint, small restaurant - exactly what you'd expect to find in Earlville, IL. The food is generally homemade, or semi-homemade and the menu is pretty "small town Americana" too... liver & onions, ham steaks, corned beef & cabbage, etc. The food is acceptable to good and the service is good - what you would expect from the one waitress they have. Don't go here if you're looking for a night out, or have a hot date, or if you're snotty. Go if you don't feel like cooking tonight, don't want to get dressed or do your hair, don't want to spend all kinds of money, but want something better than McDonalds. But go early... they close at 7 or 8:00 at night!
