Poor Customer Service 11/29/2008

Saw a car in the paper that was for sale on their lot. Could not make it in that week. Checked a week or two later and car was not in paper. Called to see if car was still on lot. Wanted to go see the vehicle. Called and the operator transfered me to sales. Phone was answered ""sales"" and I explained I wanted to come down and see the specific vehicle but before driving down wanted to see if it had been sold. Sales asked me for my name. I gave my first name. He asked do you have a last name. I said I prefer not to give it. He said he needed it. He was going to go check on the lot to see if the car was still there and call me back. I said I could call him back in a few mintues I prefered not to give my number at this time. Before I could get that sentence out he hung up the phone on me. I just wanted to know if the car was on the lot and if it was I was going to head over to look at the car. There is no vehicle or any ""great deal"" that would ever cause me to step foot on that lot. They lost a potential customer and I will have no problem sharing this story with any one willing to listen. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Cons: poor customer service more

Beware on Dunns new manager DENNIS BYNUM 10/13/2008

I have had no dealings with DUNN PONTIAC-BUICK GMC. However I have had dealings with there new manager DENNIS BYNUM, Dennis Bynum sold me a truck with a bad driveline, this truck was inspected by the dealership where Dennis was the manager. (HERITAGE FORD) This truck failed the inspection, and the inspection sheet was signed by DENNIS BYNUM, return to auction, do not sell. How ever Dennis Bynum is the one who went behind the dealership and got the truck and sold it to me, knowing it was defective and a safety hazard. I have all the original paper work where Dennis Bynum can't say he wasn't aware of the unsafe condition of the truck, he is the one that noted it not to be sold.\r This man is a bad man, he doesn't care to put you and your family members and countless others at risk.\r DENNIS BYNUM will get er Dunn like he got her done at HERITAGE FORD. THEY ARE NOW FILING BANKRUPTCY. Pros: cookeville is a better place with-out DENNIS BYNUM Cons: BEWARE NASHVILLE DENNIS BYUNM /CARES NOT FOR YOUR SAFETY JUST $$$ more

Earl Dunn Pontiac Madison, TN 8/26/2008

First let me same that the service center manager is great and his name is Ken (Great Guy)\r On the other hand I have had the worst time with the used dealer manager. I purchased a vehicle from them on 7.8.2008 todays date is 8.26.2008. I just paid my first payment on the 23rd of this month. My vehicle has been in the shop for the better part of half the time, to be correct 5 times since the date of purchase. Various reasons all relating back to drive ability issues. I have talked to the guy of all guys there at the main dealer/lot and he also gave me the run around, in telling me he would take the car for trade on the account that i would pay more monthly on my note. I said to Dennis the director of sales that I would be unable to increase my monthly payments, due to the budget I had drawn out when purchasing the vehicle. In response to me not wanting to increase my payments out of my budget range he told me to bring the car back again when the engine service light came back on and he would take it to Nissan. I told Dennis that this was the 7th time I drove to the lot and the third day from work i had to take due to them selling me the lemon vehicle and I didn't feel as if it were my responsibility to take care of things at a later date and time. In the end I still have this vehicle and want everyone to understand what they are selling to people at there lot. Be very careful when buying a used vehicle, there are no laws to see that they are responsible for there actions and they will give you every run around they have in the bag of tricks they carry and i can assure you through experience that they have more tricks than you do!!!! Pros: Ken in service center is great... Cons: Everything is and was very bad... more
