he doesn't suffer fools lightly and has little patience for drama, i think, but he's intensely intelligent and good at his job. i especially like the way he treats my children: he speaks to them directly, with respect for them as people -- something many doctors can't seem to manage even with the adults they treat. there is humor and kindness in his eyes: he's simply not terribly demonstrative. if you need to be cuddled, buy a teddy bear. if you need a good doctor, jeffrey dysart is a damned fine choice.
