Great family doctor 11/24/2009

Great doctor, He is strait and too the point. That is not to say he is not compassionate. He seems not suffer fools. He makes uncomfortable procedures and condition more than tolerable. He spends the necessary time with a patient; which in his case is shorter than other doctors I have been to. This is a credited to his experience and expertise in his field. Pros: To the point fast, experienced and intelligent. more

maybe a little closer to dr. house than dr. welby, but well worth it. 8/10/2008

he doesn't suffer fools lightly and has little patience for drama, i think, but he's intensely intelligent and good at his job. i especially like the way he treats my children: he speaks to them directly, with respect for them as people -- something many doctors can't seem to manage even with the adults they treat. there is humor and kindness in his eyes: he's simply not terribly demonstrative. if you need to be cuddled, buy a teddy bear. if you need a good doctor, jeffrey dysart is a damned fine choice. Pros: medical skill, attention to patient Cons: ambience, if that sort of thing matters to you more

EXCELLENT DOC! 7/31/2008

My husband and I absolutely love him! He takes the time to explain what the condition you are suffering from is. Both my husband and I have gone through several Primary care physicians who seem to be more concerned about what their office look like than the actual health of the patient. Pros: Excellent care Cons: Parking more

He is OK 5/9/2008

I came to him a while back as a referral from another medical professional. If you are looking for a nice sweet doctor, it's not him. As far as his medical skills, I'm not really sure but I think he rates about 80-90% accurate from what I've seen. So if you want a doctor that is going to flat out tell you how it is, he is your man. My nickname for him is ""Doc Martin"" the BBC show about the grumpy doctor, who is good but people skills lacking. If you are looking for small talk and a nice doctor pick someone else.... Pros: Know the bottom line Cons: Grumpy doc! more

A great deal of experience 4/30/2008

Dr. Dysart has a great deal of experience and spends time explaining things to me in detail. His manner is extremely straight forward and to the point and I think that puts some people off. He always answers my emails and makes referral to other doctors promptly. He prescribed medication for a 5-year long battle I had with allergies that worked practically over night when every other doctor had failed--including a allergist!! I am not crazy about his staff but they are no worse than other office staff I have encountered. Their biggest problem is that they do not respond to messages so I have to keep calling them back to make appointments or get information. Other than that and an odd office setting, I have had no problem with Dr. Dysart as my primary care physician. Pros: Office staff, hard to find the first time Cons: Easy parking more

Concerned and professional 3/12/2007

Although I came principally for an aviation medical exam, Dr. Dysart went beyond the requirements of the certificate, and helped me with general health concerns not directly related to flying. He listened to my questions and concerns, and showed his concern for my general health as an aging pilot. I would recommend him to anybody looking for concerned care in the traditional doctor's office setting, and unvarnished good advice. more

Treated me like a Hypochondriac 3/12/2007

This doctor misdiagnosed my condition for two years and told me I would just have to live with my symptoms or that I was stressed. I do not recommend him at all. He failed me greatly. Cons: porr treatment of patient more

experienced doctor 2/16/2007

I have had many great experiences with this doctor the office is a little out dated but the care is fabulous. The doctor has no problems explaining things for you, he always emails me with answers websites or test results in a timely fashion and the girls in the front have always been kind. I have recommended him to freinds who also like his practice. It is very obvious that Dr. Dysart has experience and good bedside manner. Pros: good patient doctor contact Cons: older office more

Worst doctor I have ever seen 2/2/2007

I explained to him my health concerns and he laughed for a minute. Then he said, ""What do you want me to do about it?"" Pros: Easy to find parking Cons: Long waiting time (over 1 hour), doesn't provide any help, cold office staff, just about everything more
