Durangos is a local owned steak house. It looks like any other at first look, but when you see the menu and notice all the meat is prepared over an oak-fire grill, it triggers the salivary glands. In some ways it is just like every other steak house: There is plenty of homemade bread to fill you up before your meal is served and the decor is definitely wagon-wheel.
The bacon-wrapped shrimp and Steak Sandwich were divine. That oak cooking just makes it something you'll crave over and over.
28 Margaritas to choose from, and happy hour is all day and night for Maragaritas. If you try all 28, you get your choice of a free steak dinner. Any one you choose. There is a 28 oz one that looks unbelievable, we didn't try it as we were there for lunch, but it was a monster.
Try the Black bean soup, it's the best I've had.
