Didn't know where to turn 3/16/2007

My husband and I were getting ready to move to this area because he has family here. We had a beautiful collie named Akena. Akena had suffered from seizures since she was two years old. With medication we were able to keep them under control. On the night of Dec. 28, 2004 my husband found her in a seizure. Usually we could give her extra medication and she would come out of it. This time it didn't help. We called my husband's brother and he gave us a number for an emergency vet. When I called it the answering service asked if our dog was a patient of the doctors. When I replied no she said that she couldn't put the call through. We called my brother-in-law again. He gave us Dr. Ross' number this time, mind you it was around 10:30 at night. Dr. Ross and his family had just gotten in from a trip to Washington D.C. and he told us to meet him at the clinic. He was there waiting for us and did all that he could do for her. Two days later she passed away. When we went to pick her up so that we could bury her Dr. Ross and his wife helped us take her to the car and were so very gracious. About a week later we recieved a sympathy card from the entire staff. You just don't find such caring like that very often. Thank You Dr. Ross and Staff. more

Dr. Ross is fantastic! 7/29/2005

I have been using the services of Dr. Ross and his Staff for several years now. He shows genuine concern for pets. He is the most compassionate veterinarian I have ever met. He understands just how much people love their pets. Also, his staff members are always so very nice to us. He also has grooming and boarding facilities. We have used the grooming service and it was super. We will use his boarding service when we go out of town. To top it off, he has a "no kill" shelter. We have adopted two dogs and one cat from there. I highly recommend Fox Nest. more

Owner Message

  • We love taking care of pets, and while we started out as a very small clinic in 1984, we have grown into a very busy hospital with 3 veterinarians and a staff of over 20 plus several pre-vet & vet tech students in training. Our goals are simple: to treat our clients respectfully and fairly, and to treat our patients with compassion, knowledge, and skill..
