Dresher Shop-N-Bag

I go to this amazing store just about every day. There are so many amazing and friendly people there. It makes me feel like they are my family. The food is spectacular as well. From their hot food section to their bakery, they are always on top of things. The place is always clean and well organized. I had a chance to meet with the owner George, and what a nice guy. He was so pleasent and really cared about what I thought of his store. He also has a great son, by the name of Christian. He is a well rounded kid, very polite, and will definatly be something some day. He was one of the most polite kids I have ever met. As for the structure of the store: it is also very nice. It looks very professional and organized. Fortunatly, I was also able to meet the store manager, Kevin. What a great guy! He knew all the customers and seemed very friendly. The last person I met was behind the booth, Lisa. She is such a great woman. She seemed in control and always focused. I really look up to her. So in the end, this store is a magnificant place to be and shop. And they always have great prices more

Although it takes time to adjust to a new grocery store this place is great! Very friendly employees, the help is willing to assist in finding item, the seafood department is wonderful... Not too big and not too small. Fantastic store! more

Good: Decorations were fine. Bad: We saw at the store the Birthday cakes we ordered were baked over 24 hours ahead of our pick up time, Kevin said this is their policy. Most bakerys sell "Day Old Cake" as DAY OLD CAKE, NOT FRESH!. Improvements: Tell their customers teir bakery is "ALMOST FRESH" and explain why they choose to sell day old goods as Custom Made cakes. more

I've been to this store twice since moving to Dresher, and have left angry both times. First, the main item I wanted was hair dye. I could not locate it, and I asked a store associate if they carry it. She said she was new and had no idea, without offering to ask someone who did know. I ended up having to go to another store for it. This evening I was snapped at by a cashier when I looked to see if the cash-only express lane was open. Bright spot: seafood counter guy was great. But, I won't go back. more

Shop N Bag may not be as large or as spacious as some of the larger chain grocery stores, but what they lack in spacious aisles, they make up for in their quality items. Just this past holiday, I was in a bind because a clumsy relative knocked over my two gorgeous home-made pies. I ran to the store and they were having a sale on FRESH pies, $2.99 for an 8 inch and $4.99 for a 10 inch pie. They were delicious and after I took them out of the box--no one suspected that they were store bought! more

Oddly enough, I've only had one type of food from here: cakes! These have been a staple at my nearby church since goodness knows when. Unlike many other grocery stores bakeries, the icing here is butter-creamy, rather than sugary sweet. They server a fine number of people as well, for a reasonable price. Quite a good stop for birthday parties and the like! more

George's is always a"shopping experience"---I enter knowing I am always greeted and helped by friendly workers who have a ready-smile--I have been shopping here for years and have never come across a "grump" (except an occasional customer)--my family and friends have all become fans of George's because of my high --recommendation---keep up the great work!! more

George's often has good sales and unlike most other grocery stores, you don't need to have any kind of little store card to take advantage of the deals. It's a bit frustrating shopping there because the isles are pretty small and you almost always have someone in front of you blocking the way. If you can put up with that, then I would say go to get the bargains more
