Terrific 4/11/2009

When you find a wonderful, compassionate doctor who stands out from all the rest I think it is important to let others know. There's a reason Dr Michelle Copeland graduated first in her class at Harvard. The reason is she is the best. I had my nose done and my ankles made thinner with smart liposuction and what a difference from head to toe. My nose looks so natural and it's amazing that no one remembers my terrible, crooked, big nose now. And I can finally wear skirts with my new shapely legs. The staff is great and so helpful. Definitely check her out and on Fifth Avenue! more

March 10, 2008\r \r I have very oily, sensitive skin, plus a scar from a childhood accident on my face- I have seen about a dozen dermatologists/plastic surgeons to improve my complexion, and Dr. Copeland has been the\r ONLY doctor to help improve my skin 100%. I did the stacking treatment that she recommended-\r this consists of microdermabrasion, laser, pulse light laser, and light therapy. All I can say is my\r skin is great and I'm getting complements left and right. Worth every penny. Dr. Copeland is also\r very nice and realistic in what you can expect.\r \r Thanks! more

Beware, botched surgery and no compassion 1/28/2009

You would think she's an amateur. After botching my nose surgery, she dodged all my questions as to what had actually been performed. Neglected to listen to my desired outcome and did something completely different and a terrible job at that. The icing on the cake: she lied as to what she had done. I simply requested a straightened out slimmer nose and I got a short turned up nose with a recessed columnella. Was told by another doctor my septum was cut too short and my nose is still leaning to the right. She and her staff are lacking in compassion and accountability. It's caused severe depression, insomnia, embarrassment, and seclusion and shattered my self esteem. I have dropped several thousand dollars and my nose looks like a snout. I urge all to beware and look elsewhere. Pros: Nice office to lure you in Cons: Botched surgery more

Dr. Copeland is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and is also an attending surgeon at the Mount Sinai Medical Center and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. She is a member of numerous societies and is certified by the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She is lovely and has a very pleasant bedside manner. Great Dr. 2/18/2003

I called several plastic surgeons for office hours, the receptionist here not only told me the hours but asked what I was interested in. She took the extra step and that was great. Dr. Copeland is such a nice person she never made me feel uncomfortable. more
