Stellar service 4/12/2013

Dr. G is a perfect doctor in that she produced a completely "doctor-free" environment in her office. That is, I do not see a visit to her as a visit to a physician, but rather as getting to see my friend. She is very amiable and down to earth. Great health expert, too. Highly recommended. more

I have a family of 4, and I know how important it is to have your health checked frequently, expecially if you have a condition. This Dr. primary goal is to keep you healthy, so you won't even have the need to do any follow-ups. I enjoy my life, and I realize I need to be 100% in a good health to take the full of it. I also appreciate the ease of setting up the appointments for the entire family, it's all done online via secure site. I can also get my test results that way. The assistants are sooo trained in doing annual checkups (they probably did a million already) that I trust them almost as the doctor herself. The office that was a little worn out has just been renovated, and this new fresh look adds to the euphoria I have after finding out I am clean of trouble. She loves kids, too. So, I keep referring my friends that way and I will take a minute to recommend Dr. Marina Gafanovich on this site, too. more

Best New York Doctor 7/7/2011

Dr. Marina Gafanovich for years has not only been a unique Internal Medicine Doctor in Upper East Side, but also an active advocate of healthy living and pro-active lifestyle. She is also very down-to-earth an in fact accepts most insurance plans (unlike many physicians of her position), which I really enjoy. Dr Gafanovich is one of rare Manhattan physicians that direct you to an appropriate referral, and her prescriptions are always accurate and correct. Highly recommended! more

Googled nyc internist 5/2/2011

The pain in my heart made me sick. I had no power. I crawled like a snail. That was enough. I hate hospitals so I visited that internist nyc that I googled. A nice website, great opinions. I didn’t feel pity. She helped me a lot. After a week or so I’m feeling much better, not running of course, the years you know, but much much better. more

Highly recommend. I have been looking for a new primary in the area for some time. Dr. Marina Gafanovich and her staff are kind personable and respectful of your time, I waited for less than 15 minutes for my annual phyisical exam. I had a full physical during out first visit and she spent nearly an hour gathering my medical history and assessing me. She called the next week to follow-up on the blood work she ordered. I was so impressed with her prompt follow-up, she's a keeper! Additionally, she offers evening hours a day or two during the week. more
