Having received a referral from an extremely prestigious group of ophthalmologists, Clairmont-Nichols tended to my needs beyond what I expected. The professionalism and expertise that I encountered is simply unmatched anywhere in Manhattan. I have worn glasses for my entire life and have only recently learned what "the best in the business" can actually mean. Recommended without reservation. more

Good glasses and also binoculars! 10/21/2005

This full service opticians is a family run neighborhood business on the upper east side (near East 56th Street). There is a specialist for contact lens wearers and they also give eye exams. In addition to serving your eye care needs, an added bonus is that they also sell high quality optics like Zeiss, Nikon and Leica and binoculars and telescopes and will give novices good information and advice. Excellent service. more
