Dr. Scordalakes has always had a passion for medicine. He knew as a young child that he wanted to practice in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, and reaffirmed this during his residency. He appreciates the unique mix of surgery and office time with patients that the field of obstetrics and gynecology provides. In addition to being board certified as a general OB/GYN, Dr. Scordalakes is sub-specialty board-certified in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. This sub-specialty (formerly known as urogynecology) involves managing and correcting pelvic support issues (such as prolapse) as well as multiple conditions relating to urinary tract functioning (voiding issues, pain and incontinence).
