Dr. Jones joins Orthopaedic Associates with a diverse range of experience and a special interest in orthopaedic surgery for a wide range of conditions. A native of southern Illinois, Dr. Jones played football at Southern Illinois and professional football for the Minnesota Vikings, before moving on to a career in medicine and orthopedic surgery training at the University of Florida. He has an interest in partial and total knee replacement, hip replacement, revision hip and knee replacement, shoulder replacement, and adult and pediatric fracture care of the upper and lower extremities. He is also trained in the latest techniques for arthroscopic shoulder surgery for rotator cuff tears and instability, arthroscopic knee surgery, meniscal repair, and ACL reconstruction, as well as surgery for conditions of the hand and foot.
