I was unfortunate enough to be assigned this MD upon the incidence of my very first seizure as a young man in 1995, at the UT Epilepsy Center. At this time Dr. Azreena was an Assistant Neurology Professor and I was a sophomore at a liberal arts college. Upon rereading this doctor's prognosis of me recently, it is full of implied disdain for me and my mother. Moreover, this prognosis was then forwarded to future physicians as my condition persisted over the years. This doctor's egotistical, subjective assessment of me as an ignorant young fool was thus established as my hallmark for every healthcare professional who worked on my case for the next 15 years. Hippocratic oath was violated. No doctor/patient respect. I regret ever putting any trust in this neurologist, but I was then a young and incredibly frightened 19 year-old man, and I thought this doctor was interested in helping me. She didn't have the slightest respect for me, and she will probably not have the slightest respect for you either. Avoid her at all costs.
