Used to be good, now it went downhill 11/19/2007

Lately I have gone there, hoping "the next time" won't be so bad, but I am wrong again and again. The last outing, very recently, the food was undercooked, and although it tasted fine, the after-effects of having stomach problems, literally disgust me. I know the one in NYC closed from a health violation, I wonder why the quality of the one in Teaneck, NJ has gone downhill. Food wasn't anything special, but having stomach problems does not help. One person I know had to go to a doctor for tests. I think that says enough right there. more

Yummy 9/23/2005

This is a nice Glatt kosher BBQ place that serves up a mean plate of ribs. With the grand opening of the new Dougie's in NYC this place is shore to be a hit. Although keep in mind it does take a long time for food to cook and the service can be spotty on some nights. GO and get your BBQ~ more

spicy food 8/20/2005

fast service usually. lots of choices. the food ranges from spicy fries and burgers to chili and pastrami. the place is always crowded. the service can be slow when the place is filled for dinner, especially on sunday nights. it is more comfortable at lunch time. when it is crowded, you could take out. more

Greasy Goodness 8/4/2005

Dougies is the same as the other mid range resutrants. However, they have the best spicey fries and firepopers (Aka: Boneless Buffalo Wings). Otherwise keep a watch out for maurading packs of kids, this is no place for a romantic date. However, it is a good place to stop by a grease up the arteries for a cheap price. Their monster burgers are also rather good. Ohh yea, never order Deli there. It will always be dry. more
