Got ripped off and made afraid!!!\r \r \r Went there for squeaky brakes. Told Donnie the owner I was afraid of getting parts I don't need and being overcharged. He said he would only replace what was needed and nothing more (see below). He also said the repair would only take an hour or less. 4 hours later my car came down off the rack and the price was over $300. He said I needed a part within my brakes and even though I didn't need pads, they changed them anyway ($140 more). Disgusted and tired of being there all day watching his tattooed skin head slow workers work like slugs, I drove out and the brake pedal went all the way to the floor! I had to go back. Donnie seemed highly annoyed (at me!!!) and said it was supposed to go to the floor when I step on the brakes. I said, ""No sir, it was tight and at the top of the pedal movement range."" Another 45 minutes later after slug watching I left again and unbelievable the pedal went to the floor. I went back (humble and nice lady that I am) and he was ANGRY AT ME. He slammed a door and threw a clipboard. 45 minutes later he left in my car and came back saying, ""I locked it down and left a big black mark so your brakes work fine. Sorry about all your stuff that fell into the floor."" Excuse me, but anti-lock brakes don't leave a black mark. I went looking for one but there was no black mark in the 4 miles I went. He lied. He took my money for things I didn't need. I felt afraid when he threw an angry tantrum. Stay away from him. Mr. Tire is just around the corner. Hiram Auto is just over the RR tracks. Don't be deceived by the image he tries to portray. more

We took my son's car to get an oxygen sensor and an EGR valve replaced because the car failed emissions and the check engine light was on. When I picked up the car I noticed that there were two charges for $155 each to check these parts. My sons grandfather uses this mechanic and he is kind enough to pay for the repairs my boys have done there. I didn't ask about the charges at the time. I left with the car and got a quarter mile down the road when the light came back on. No big deal. I called my husband, who had just dropped me off to come back to get me at the shop. The owner was under the dash resetting the light and I decided to show the bill to my husband who asked, do you charge $155 to hook a car up to the computer? To which Donnie replied, ""you better read on buddy and you are not going to knock my work on my property!"" My husband handed the bill to me and said, ""here, you have it, I don't give a damn anyway"" and he left and told me to leave too. But the check engine light was still on. He wouldn't fix it. I followed him into the office and was trying to make a call to my sons grandfather to see what he wanted me to do about it since he was paying. I had to turn sideways to get in the door because a man who turned out to be his son wouldn't let me by. He then accused me of ""shoving"" him! He called me crazy, told me to ""shut my mouth,"" he said ,""you make me sick, thinking you are better than everyone else"" it was the most unbelievable experience I have ever had! They told me they were Christians and they didn't approve of cussing. I guess they heard my husband say ""damn."" He screamed at me several times ""your not paying the bill! So don't worry about it!"" I told them all I needed was the light reset so emissions could be done. I eventually left. My son had to take the car back to get the light reset. They didn't even put the cover back on. We had to look around in the car to find it. I was just curious about the charges and no one was knocking their work although they never get anything right with one trip and regardless of who was paying for the bill it was $900 and I almost went to jail because we asked!\r If you go there, don't ask about your bill! Those ""Christians"" will talk to you like you are sub-human. They might even falsely accuse you of shoving them and you could go to jail. Wow! Nuts! more

after a bad motorcycle accident i could no longer work on my on cars so i took my 70 nova to donnies (because he gave the best price) to get my plugs, valvecover gaskets changed and trans resealed. when confronted about the work and refusing to reimburse me, i was told plugs dont need gapping only hotroder like me do that( they replaced but did not gap the plugs) stripped out a t on my valve cover, and as far as i can tell did not reseal the trans which i paid for, still has all the same old dirt and oil on it and leaks worse now. I should have paid more ,you know what they say, you get what u pay for. I recommend anyone else more
