Had annual contract. Service guy came out and spent over an hour climbing up and down our attic steps, going outside to units, cleaning the units and putting gauges in our registers. The very next day one of the units quit. A different service guy comes out, says there is no freon. I ask if there is a leak. Tells me that there has been NO freon in it, it is dry. I call for a supervisor who comes out. Says there must have been a mistake in the paperwork, Ricky (original guy) has been with them for years and never any problem. Supervisor puts freon in it and says the compressor may need replaced. Cost will be around $6000-7000! Sure enough, a few weeks later, no air. I call another agency who tells me the compressor seals are blown and that it is a result of dirty freon!!! The new compressor and cleaning out the air circulation is under $1,200. BEWARE!! They are out to sell units, not keep them running. 20%+ Commission is what I was told they make.
