The best place to send your dog to sleep or just play 7/5/2011

My two crazy pups love this place. It gives me peace of mind that my dogs are in total comfort and having a great time. Their rates are reasonable and my 2 dogs get to sleep together, just like they do at home. It is fun and easy to see your dogs at play on the web cam. They come home from ""vacation"" happy, healthy and smelling good. I can not say enough about the staff. Every one is great with the dogs, but Kylie just exudes doggie love. We have tried a few other doggie day cares and no one even comes close. more

Amazing! 10/28/2010

The Doggie Lounge has changed my life! I take both of my dogs there and they get so excited when we pull around the corner. And I get so excited when I get home from a long work day and they are pooped out! Everyone who works there is fantastic and there is even a webcam so you can watch your dogs play while your at work. I have had a lot of bad experiences with kennels and the Doggie Lounge is where I will always take my dogs from now on! Thanks! more

Awesome! You get what you $ for and then some... 8/21/2010

I went to the Doggy Lounge after starting a new job with insane hours (60hr work wk minimum required) Kyllee (sp) was willing to open a little bit earlier on certain days to meet my schedule since I live in Lakewood and needed about 45min to get there and back in the a.m and 1.5hrs to get there and home in the p.m with traffic. (Not a single Lakewood/Wheatridge/Golden daycare facility thought twice about changing hours on certain days to accommodate a pet/client) Not only was she super friendly, but she was down to earth, gave me her honest opinion (as a dog behaviorist, which she is) for no additional cost. She didn't sugar coat it when she told me my dog had a really hard time adjusting, and even had to be put into ""Time Out"" a few times when my dog started getting agitated with some of the more energetic dogs. Within 2 weeks (going 2x a week) my dog, who was a rescue from a shelter that I could never leave alone w/ family or friends without her whining or barking all day due to separation anxiety the minute I left her, started to NEVER LOOK BACK AT ME when I dropped her off and put her leash in to Kyllee's hand like she did in the beginning. She was so excited to be there and by the end of the day she was so tired that going outside for her p.m. potty seemed exhausting. (She's maybe 5yrs old, 50lb heeler mix). Kyllee is amazing. Not only does she do behavior work, but she opens her daycare for rescues sometimes, sans profit. (One time she opened the daycare to anyone who adopted/supported the Greyhound Rescue by taking their dogs for the day so the rescue could have a benefit party at Elitches.) Her staff is almost as amazing as she is. They are all very mature, and you can tell they are not the usual younger than 20-something yr olds that you find in most daycare/boarding facilities that are there to make extra $ and think just puppies are cute. her staff is WAY beyond that. I actually found this place by working at a vet clinic and hearing through word of mouth from one of our ""Highly Established Client's"". Plus, if you can afford it, your dog can be boarded over night and have his/her own private room (NO KENNELS!) After spending the whole day playing in the daycare area...basically 12hrs of daycare for around 35$ plus a private room for sleeping. They also offer a webcam so you can watch your pup play. If I didn't live so far away i'd use the Doggy Lounge every time I needed to put my dog in daycare or boarding as she is my daughter. Unfortunately I live so far away that the commute and gas make it financially impossible now. That daycare/boarding is the best i've found, and i've worked in the vet field for almost 10yrs. You get what you pay for, and The Doggy Lounge and Night Club is not only affordable, but your dog will get the love and attention you know he/she deserves at a reasonable price on top of playing all day with other dogs under supervision of trained employees. Hopefully they expand and make new locations in the Lakewood/Wheatridge/Golden area...i'd be there in a heart beat and I know my dog would be one step ahead of me ; ) more

We LOVE the Doggie Lounge 10/10/2009

Our silky terrier, Skylor, absolutely loves going to the doggie lounge. She has learned manners and social skills and comes home exhausted from playing all day. We researched quite a few places and tried out other doggie daycare places before settling on the Doggie Lounge. We love the special attention Kyllee gives Skylor. The boutique has some unique things you can't find at the pet stores. Pros: Kyllee and the staff. Lots of play space. more

Great Place with Lots of Personal Attention 8/8/2009

I just moved to the area from another state, and one of my biggest concerns was finding a place for my shepherd Harry to go to for daycare and boarding, as my work schedule is pretty demanding. I happened upon Kyllee and her staff at the Doggie Lounge, and I think they have been awesome! They really go the extra mile to keep Harry (and me by default) happy, including giving him some one on one time when boarding and staying in his room with him for awhile during feeding time to ensure my picky baby actually eats something! I feel like they know Harry's personality and work with that to keep him entertained and happy. They have also been flexible about pickup and drop off times- something that I really had a problem with at my other doggie daycare before I moved. They are always very friendly and let me know what he has been up to all day and listen patiently to any concerns I might have about anything going on with him (I tend to obsess a little about him!). I absolutely adore my dog, and, while I hate being away from him, I feel like he is in really good hands! I would highly recommend the Doggie Lounge to all dog owners looking for a place with a personal touch. It is so nice to come back from work or a trip to a happy, tired dog! And while I would probably pay whatever it took to keep Harry happy, their rates are very reasonable and geared towards giving frequent customers a break. I think it is a wonderful place. more

Love it, Love it, Love it, Love it 8/5/2009

Last weekend we boarded our dogs at Sid's Doggie Lounge while we were out of town. After we dropped the dogs off we discussed how wonderful it was to have the Doggie Lounge for our dogs. The moment we walked in, the dogs went crazy! They are always so excited to be there. And as soon as they saw Kylee, they went bananas. The best part, though, was I couldn't tell if my dogs were more excited to see her or if she was more excited to see them! I feel like my dogs get close, personal attention while they are there and do not miss out on any loving! Kylee knows both of my dogs' personalities and caters to them each day. I can't imagine taking my dogs anywhere else! Pros: Wonderful Staff more

This place ""rocks""! 8/4/2009

I love the Doggie Lounge. The owners are really awesome, and they are honest-to-God animal lovers. They do a lot for the dogs who stay with them: they work with dogs with behavior issues, and they take great care with dogs who suffer from fear and other issues. The place is really big, which is a huge plus if you know anything about doggie daycares b/c most of them are tiny and overcrowded. The other reviewer who put something about seeing weeds (what a strange thing to pick out...but anyway...) obviously doesn't get it. If you have a ton of dogs running around all the time, are you going to try to grow a beautiful lawn? I don't think so. Anyway, I would recommend the Doggie Lounge to ANYONE. Pros: Huge Place & Great Staff more

Great place with great staff! 8/1/2009

We just adopted a high-energy lab mix from a rescue group, and while we play with her lots and give her tons of attention, we felt that she really needed to play with other dogs. We dropped her off today for her first half day (5 hrs) of daycare with Kyllee and the staff, and I've never seen this dog so happy or so tired! Kyllee is a great person, and you can tell that she and her staff truly love what they do and care for these dogs as if they were their own. The facility is funky and cool with great amenities for the dogs, the prices are excellent, and Bella (our dog) had a wonderful time! Our pets are like our kids, and I did a lot of research before deciding on Sid's Doggie Lounge - I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone! Pros: Excellent prices, staff, lots of room for dogs to play Cons: None! more

By Far the BEST IN TOWN!! 7/27/2009

I recently adopted a Boxer from the shelter and looked all over town for a good daycare to take him to 1-2 a week. After researching what else was out there, I found that Doggie Lounge was by far the best. The staff is extremely friendly and willing to answer all my questions (and I have a lot!!). Huge facility with plenty of room to romp and play (yet they are not over crowded like some of the other daycares I have seen). I have been taking Ty there for over a month and he always comes home HAPPY, SOCIALIZED, and TIRED, which is exactly what I want. \r Bigboy55 obviously has not done his/her research on doggie daycares, because these rates are among the best in town and the level of service they offer is above and beyond what you would get anywhere else.\r This is a great place to take your dogs, whether big or small. I highly recommend them to anyone considering doggie daycare.\r Pros: Friendly knowledgable staff, clean facility, best rates more

Great Place for Daycare and Boarding! 7/21/2009

I love the doggie lounge. My dog comes Sara comes here for daycare everyday and boarding about once a month. I love that there are no crates and the staff is really nice. I was surprised to read the other review because my dog comes here everyday and I watch her on the web cams. I was away and Sara was boarding when the camera went down at the doggie lounge and I was amazed that the owner e-mailed me video of Sara so I could see her. I thought it was really above and beyond. I don't usually write reviews of things but I felt like I should let people know that I see Sara play everyday on the web and the service and care I get at the Doggie Lounge is amazing. I have went to other doggie daycares before but I will always stay here! I wish I could give 10 stars. Pros: Great to the dogs, Great service Cons: Only one location more

just not what i was looking for 7/20/2009

I boarded my big guy last month and was told we would be able to watch him through web cams, which was one of the main reasons we chose this facility. They advertise web cams on their ads and on a great press release I saw. But they don't really have them. The owner told me they would be fixed soon and send me a video, which I appreciated, however this was not what i was looking for. When I picked him up he seemed nervous and it took him a few days to get back to normal. I called back and found out they still have NO webcams and I find this misleading. The prices are very expensive for what you get. Although I found the people to be nice, I felt lied to and mislead. No matter what they tell you, there are no webcams. Being sent a video is NOT a webcam. I guess I should add, in my video there were a bunch of weeds in the background, which didn't make me fee like the place was kept well. Pros: convienent hours Cons: lack of services promised more

My happy dogs go to Sid's Doggie Lounge for a good time 7/14/2009

My two dogs have lots of fun everytime they go to Sid's. My oldest and largest dog has rubber floors to run on which helps ease the pain on his joints. He receives constant attention because he loves to fetch and they know it! He is handled with great care. My little one has a prince charming she loves to run with and it's nice to see a lot of the same dogs. That says something, because other people feel the same way we do. It's hard to turn you're kids over to just anyone, the trust factor is there. (Not to mention the owners are hip, slick and cool) Pros: Clean...clean...clean and fun...fun..fun! more

Best of the best in day/night doggie boarding/day care 5/21/2009

Large and small dog areas, padded floors--non\r slip, indoor and outdoor offered, caring attendants,\r care individualized by dog's needs. My small older dog\r needs play time plus rest time w/o harrassment from\r other and larger dogs. Doggie Lounge meets all her \r needs. I had no worries while out of town regarding \r her care. Even received e-mail and photo update!! Pros: Great accommodations more

Cool Place and Very Nice to My Dog!!! 2/26/2009

I was so worried about leaving for a long weekend because I was leaving my maltipoo puppy, Milly, for the first time. I was having nightmeres of kennels and cages and then I came to Doggie Lounge. It's such a great happy atmosphare but more than that was a real care for the dogs. My Milly stayed in a room with a window instead of a crate and played all day with other dogs. Every night I got a e-mail with pictures and a description of what she did that day. I can't tell you how it eased my mind. Milly seemed so happy when I picked her up that now I take her once a week for daycare so she can see her friends. Pros: Fun, Cool, Great Service, No Crates more
