Editorial review from Citysearch 8/2/2012

I recently went to this location and had a wonderful exam that cleared my vision with glasses the same day. My glases needed a big change on both my eyes and since it was only a year since my last examine DR Neff said to watch and see if vision changes again cause a big change is sometimes a seen with undiagnosed sugar. She referred me to my families Dr and sure enough I had diabetess and needed to be in hospital BC sugar was relly high. I got sugar controlled and I went back to see why my new glasses were blurry, my family doctor said eyes change sometimes with medical probles. I'm see hapy I went to Dr Neeff bc she fit me in same day and redid my eyes and frames withh staff and I can see great. Scares me to kno I didn't even know I had sugar. The exam for glasses got me to my physician in time. My family continues to see Dr Neffs. more

My experience with Dr. Neff and store: After taking the time to make an appointment well enough in advance, I arrived at ""The Mall"" (Probably my first mistake by not visiting a private provider) and realized that my appointment had not been noted properly. From there I had to sign back in for an appt on the spot only to wait for over AN HOUR which put me at the end of the day / near closing time for the mall. I was not extremely happy but I was willing to give the optometrist a chance only to find that she was tired, unhappy and wanted to GO HOME as she even took the time to whisper to another coworker within ear-shot of me. At this point I had a feeling I was not going to get the proper exam I had come in for. Well... Sure enough, when I had come back in to pick up my glasses a couple days later (as soon as I could), I tried them on and the vision correction was HORRIBLE! After MUCH trial and error AND a two day period of wearing them at home only to get acclimated; I then went back to have them checked with my RX and they were correct WITH my RX however, my RX was WRONG due to negligence on the optometrists part after going through ANOTHER exam to verify on top of her (the optometrist), being very RUDE and not willing to listen to my concern and disappointment!!! I know optometrists are NOT full blown MDs but at least they could live up to their responsibilities as a ""person of care"" and do their job properly as this could have seriously affected my vision or even have caused a more serious event to occur if I had not taken the time to try them at HOME first only to find they were completely wrong! This particular optometrist AND store truly needs an evaluation more often. Signed, A VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER more

Entirely frustrating! 2/19/2010

I have been waiting two weeks for glasses that were promised to me an hour. I have been to the store 3 times based on information from the employees that my glasses would be ready. Everytime I got a different excuse: the snow, the machine's broken, we sent them to another store, the lens broke. With no cortesy call to say, ""I'm sorry the glasses you ordered, will not be ready until..."" My husband and I have been customers for at least five years, but today when I was in the store, I asked for a refund. I overheard a salesperson promising a new customer her glasses in an hour.\r What's wrong with this picture? more
