Doctor Q Pediatrics

About 10 yrs ago my child was immunized by this dr geismar and I practically begged for my childs records but the doctor would not give them to me saying that was a long time ago we dont have those. Meanwhile they incorrectly documented one of her immunizations and refused to correct it. Not only that they refused to enter it into the state EMR system. The receptionist was nasty rude and degrading in her responses like I was bothering her. She could care less about my problem with their incorrect documentation. Because my daughter was in the same school all those years and it was not seen or caught so this actually affected my Childs enrollment when I told that to the receptionist she was rude and said dont know what to tell you nothing I can do they're in storage more

The incident described below is far from accurate. We treat our parients and with respect . ( the original writer who actullay changed her name after the original ""tip"" was written is describing an incident innacuratedly, this gentleman was not even at office ) We strive to still do our best and act professional even on tough situations. \r If there are waits is because we give 100% commitment to our patiens , specially if sick and at times that takes longer time than scheduled specially during the worst flu season years.We are always open to discuss incidents on a timely and respectful manner to correct any issue arising from our part if any.At the same time taking responsability for one's actions is key to an open communication and improvement.\r more

I have been going to dr q pediatrics for 2 years. Until now its been pleasant besides the long wait times. That was until I needed them the most and my daughter got sick. I called to make an appointment and they would not assist me. The receptionist said that they only make sick appointments the day of. Which makes no sense being a working mom there is no way that I can just call on a whim and see if you have something available. If shes booked for wellness exams then my sick daughter had to wait. Really?! And having an appointment isnt even that great they make you wait an hour before attending to you. Ridiculous! WhenI talked to dr q about the incident she became defensive and basically said that is the way she does business. Really not surprising since I understand that its a business but when it comes to a sick infant you are really heartless and should pick a different feild if you are turning down appointments for sick infants that are ecposed to so many illnesses to give so.eone a vaccine. When I told her I m would consider another pediatrician that will make an appointment for my daughter instead of sendi g me to tbe emergency room for a cold she told me quote ""well you do what you want"" . I see now why the receptionist felt comfortable being rude and hung up on me. She is learning from her boss. Horrible service. Im glad that I found out sooner rather then later that dr q pediatrics does not care about my childs well being they just care about havinh gauranteed appointment and the money. Disgusting. more

Dr Q started seeing my daugher about 7 yrs ago I would say. I am a very observant and picky consumer. Dr Q and Dr G are the BEST pediatricians I have ever had. ( I have met maybe ten since we moved a lot and I have an older child) Dr Q in particular, makes my daughter feel very special and they always treat us with kindness and respect. There sense of urgency but not panic is dead on with my daughters asthma. I would highly recommend this office to anyone. My 10 yo daughter loves it there and doesn't want to see anyone else! Dr. Q is great, when my son came to her office, he was not well because of his extreme case of asthma. Dr. Q took him in right away and knew just how to take care of my son. Dr Q is a wonderful physician. After visiting different doctors, she was the only doctor that was able to control my son's severe asthma. In the 8 years Dr Q has been seeing my children I have never had to wait long in the office. My children love to go to her office. The staff is patient and compassionate. more

Dr. Q has been my children's pediatrician for the past 7 years and she has always been on the money in regards to diagnosis. She is always friendly and personable, and never treats you and your children like ""cattle"". My children love the nurses on staff and everyone seems to be happy to work there. Waiting area time is never beyond what you would expect at any doctor's office. I also appreciate that they have available appointments for sick children and a wonderful after hours call service. Dr. Q is a person that you can definitely trust your children's well being to. more

Having 3 kids I am used to visiting pediatric offices. This office is too small for the amount of patients they see. The wait is extremely long both in the waiting area and once you are in the examination room. The staff is unfriendly. Do not recommend this office at all. I will NEVER go back there. Just awfull. I tried it a few times just to give the office the benefit of the doubt. Next time I'll follow my first impression!
