Djon's

As a party of two couples that have dined all over the world and are pretty savvy to restaurant protocol, we were astounded when the manager asked us to leave as soon as we paid our check! Not only did we drop well over $300, but we tipped at least 25%, and we paid the bill as soon as the server presented it. If the manager had at least explained they were busy (which they were not) and were expecting another party soon and if we would move to the bar, he would buy us an after dinner drink, we would have obliged graciously (even without the drink) and not felt such a stinging rebuke. My husband refuses to ever step foot in the place again. Too bad, because the food and service were fine and over the years it was a place for special times and events with family and friends. more

If you're looking for mediocre steaks prepared by a line-cook then this is your place! Try the $20 crab spring rolls with real imitation crab. Also if regular old vodka martinis in small glasses are your thing, Djon's has your poison but bring $15 a piece. You'll either leave broke or sober, your choice. more

Yeah, at $8 per beer (regular 12oz served in the bottle), Djon's Chop House makes the roads safer. You'll go broke before you get drunk. The food is ok, but too pricey and too small servings. Don't get me wrong. I don't mind paying for a quality meal, but that wasn't what I was served last night at Djon's. more

Tried Dijon's, the service was acceptable, the food was okay, steak was delicious. Tried the lobster special (available Friday and Saturday) it was delicious. The quantity of food for the prices they charge is a little high for my liking. The service was good but the food could be a little better and more plentiful. The location is nice to sit and have a drink in the cooler months out front with the view of Melbourne Beach pier and the kids playing in the park. I feel Dijon's is better for drinks then it is for dinner. more
