This is a very popular restaurant locally. I personally do not care for there food. And the building is run down. Many people however, that I know make this there weekly outing...

Dixie Family Restaurant 4/1/2006

I have been to Dixie Family Restaurant one time, and I won't be back. I hated the food a lot. It tasted awful. They replaced it, but it still had that same, bland taste to it. I simply didn't like it. The server was nice and kind, though. The prices are reasonable. The outside of the building seems run-down. If you are looking for a night out, I'd suggest you go elsewhere. I am giving this three stars because I feel it does have potential. And, who knows, maybe it was an off night for me or them. more

This is a very popular restaurant locally. I personally do not care for there food. And the building is run down. Many people however, that I know make this there weekly outing. They have a very country home type feeling. more

good country food 12/25/2005

There's not much to say about the decor at the Dixie Family Restaurant, except that it's clean and comfy. I tried the turkey and gravy with veggies. Unlike most places, where I get a sliver of processed turkey, I got what looked and tasted like white meat carved straight from the bird. For dessert, I tried the pineapple cream cheese pie, which tasted like cheesecake with a hint of pineapple. I was greeted with a smile and made to feel welcome. This is definitely a place I will visit again. more
