Not only is the ambience unique and sumptuous, the kitchen is absolutely first rate, and the whole approach to wine cannot be beat! They offer a dozen or so flights of wines: 3 samples in 2 oz pours, and they are very well chosen. In addition, they have the best approach to pricing; they add $12 to the retail price of every bottle, no matter how expensive, and on top of that, they have an off-premise license as well, so you can buy and take with you any wines you really like. The food is fabulous; for instance we had a house-cured salmon terrine that is one of the best dishes I've ever tasted.
