Met all expectations 11/4/2014

The employees at Discount Movers are very well-trained, and they operate in a coordinated manner. They were also polite, respectful, and efficient. They worked very fast. They are just clean, wonderful people who know what they are doing. There were a couple of mishaps with moving my items, but nothing that cannot be repaired. They were very industrious and did not waste any time. They also moved on the day that I needed to move, and made room for me in their schedule. The prices are also very reasonable. more

Excellent 7/15/2014

We had eight guys from Discount Movers move an agency into another office with two trucks of furniture. The job took a lot of manpower moving heavy stuff upstairs and they did a good job. Best decision I ever made 4/29/2014

These guys are the real deal. They showed up on time. I walked them through the house and pointed out what was staying and what was going. They got to work immediately packing the truck. They provided wardrobe boxes (to borrow, not to keep) for me to pack my closet on the day of the move. Once we arrived to my home, I just unpacked those first. Easy! With any of my fragile items (tv's, bookcases, china, etc) They wrapped in large blankets and secured them inside the truck to ensure safe transport. Once they arrived at the new address they got to unloading promptly. It took a total of 4 hours for them to take care of everything. BEST DECISION I EVER MADE! I was unpacked and settled in my new place by the time the weekend was over. Thank you to Discount Movers and their excellent team for making this transition so smooth. Great customer service. 3/18/2014

Discount Movers moved us from the third floor of our apartment to our house which was 20 miles away. They didn't charge for flights of stairs like other companies do. The guys were pretty good and wrapped everything. Nothing was damaged on the move. They were on time, early actually, and worked hard all day getting the job done. more

The silver lining in the moving process 10/18/2013

Discount Movers helped make the very stressful moving process easy for us! Two movers came to help us move everything. They showed up on time on the dot. They were very fast, efficient, and careful in loading and unloading our things. We tried to pack everything before their arrival, but they definitely helped to wrap certain items even more carefully for us. The whole move took about six hours. When they unloaded things in our new home, they even remembered where in our home certain packages came from, so they unloaded them in the relevant areas in our new home. The service was great. They made this part of our moving experience very stress-free. more

Discount Movers did a regular household move for me. The service was decent. It wasn't cheap, but it also wasn't too expensive. I liked that they worked very quickly, but still didn't damage any of my stuff. more

Saved my Bacon 7/24/2013

About a month ago i had arranged for a unnamed moving company to come and move me. They never showed and i called discount movers and they showed up and moved me in a timely manner and they didnt run me over the coals on pricing. Thanks for the help. Memory lane more

Not satisfied 2/6/2013

With Discount Movers I didn't feel like I got my money's worth. They tear things down but do not put them back up and I am not satisfied. Careful and quick 1/28/2013

Discount Movers sent out a great team of workers. They were very careful but also moved quickly. I didn't feel like they were prolonging the work even though they were paid hourly. Easy to work with, highly recommended. I don't have a comparison for the "price for value" category but I would use them again. The workers from Discount Movers were helpful and friendly. They helped move the contents of a house that we were closing escrow on. They worked on a Sunday. They packed and moved everything, the job they did was quite satisfactory. more

Discount Movers were the best movers I've ever had in my life! The three movers all got along and liked each other, and they had wonderful rapport amongst themselves. We laughed and joked, and we had a great time moving, if you can believe it! The owner of Discount Movers was positive and honest. Excellent all the way around! 4/16/2012

Lara and Alex were very efficient, polite, careful and professional. The arrived on time, went right to work and wasted no time. They wrapped the piano and bench so as not to mar or cause any damage and drove to their destination in record time. My daughter said that they delivered it expertly, moved it into place in her home and were very gentlemen. All in all it was a very good event and I highly recommend this company. more

I would certainly use the services of Discount Movers again and would recommend them to my friends. They were on time, courtese and had enough men to make the move rather seemless.
