DisasterPlus was our first experience with this sort of disaster (water damage) so I didn't quite know what to expect. We had anticipated that we would have to do all the leg work in getting the furniture out and those sorts of things but they told us we didn't have to do anything. They boxed up everything and stored it until all the work in the house was done. That was a huge relief for us. The entire process is inconvenient but if it wasn't for DisasterPlus, it would have been an experience that I wouldn't want to wish on anybody. There were would have been so much do as homeowners. They basically said, don't worry about it, we'll handle it and they were right. K. Artigues more

Excellent experience! 2/8/2014

I use Disaster Plus for work a lot - we build custom homes and do renovations. Sometimes, we need their help, unfortunately, and they do a fantastic job every time. THIS time, it was my personal home, and their expertise gave me and my wife peace of mind that all was fine to close up. They worked fast but thoroughly. Never disappointed! more

I recently had a water line burst in my home flooding my dining room. Disaster Plus arrived very quickly after calling and made a really bad experience much better. They were able to remove all of the standing water, saving my rugs and furniture from damage and came equipped with all the necessary equipment to continue the drying process. Disaster plus removed all of the damaged flooring and hauled it away the same night. TheirTechnician took the time to thoroughly explain the entirerecovery process and talked me through the details of working with my insurance company. These guys are real professionals. more

No problems at all 1/24/2014

DisasterPlus gave me excellent service. Everyone I talked to was so helpful. They helped me with some water mitigation and were very professional and efficient. A lot of it came from them coming on time every day to check up and measure the water readings. They helped me prevent a lot of further damage to my home. The prices were very fair. The team that came out were very courteous and respectful about entering my home. They didn't leave any mess whatsoever. I'd strongly recommend them. more

Great Service 1/17/2014

I had a plumbing incident in my home so I looked in the yellow pages and found DisasterPlus. The guy who came in was very professional and took care of the situation. Over the next few days I received some follow up calls asking how everything had turned out. And throughout the entire process my plumber summarized everything that was going on so that I could have a clear understanding of it. Overall very good service. more

Refreshing and comforting experience 1/9/2014

DisasterPlus took care of some smoke damage from a small fire. I appreciated the quick response. They always pick up the phone and it doesn't matter if it's 6 in the evening on a Sunday. They're very responsive and friendly. W. Gregg more

DisasterPlus was actually more prepared than we were! There was a fire in the building next to ours, so they came to eradicate the smoke in the air. We had a little bit of a bump in the road along the way, but they were great about overcoming that. more

If you would call a company again, it speaks for itself 11/13/2013

We had a mainline back up in a commercial building and it was important because there were nine other tenants in the building that could have been affected, and they were, with their toilets backing up. DisasterPlus got over there quickly and got the problem resolved. Everything went very smoothly and that was the end of it. more

They do a great job for a great price 9/9/2013

We have beautiful floors and had no idea there was water until we moved a piece of furniture. DisasterPlus had someone here in a couple of hours of calling so they were very fast. They had a very professional approach, which when you have a situation like that in your home, you want someone who is competent and confident in what they do. They did a great job! They saved the wood and we just had contractors in finishing it up. They were generous with their help and professional in their communication. You want someone who stays in touch while it was going on. We were out of town traveling during the process and they communicated extremely well and did as they promised. You'll be satisfied with their work. DisasterPlus does a great job for a great price. more

Nothing short of outstanding. 9/3/2013

We had a water line break on an installation we were doing for one of our customers. It was a large water line and it flooded their whole office. We called DisasterPlus and the location wasn't central to the city we live in, but despite that fact they had someone very close and he got there within ten minutes. They were able to get it all cleaned up and did a highly professional job. So much so that not only did they take care of our problem, they also found some old water damage and mold our customer had incurred previously and were able to take care of that as well. I highly recommend DisasterPlus. more

Middle of the night flood 8/30/2013

2am & I find a washing machine downstairs that had been stuck on the rinse cycle ... for hours. My first groggy early morning thought was, "Grab some towels to clean this up!" Reality quickly set in, though, as the kitchen floor mats floated by. I remembered the '7247247' jingle from the radio ads & took the chance ... having no idea really who to call first. From the beginning, the staff was reassuring ... and the first associate was on site in less than an hour. They explained the process & worked diligently throughout the night, as we basically had to "move out" of the 1st floor of our house. They came back for the next 4 days until everything was dry & ready for the insurance adjuster. This team made what seemed to be an impossible middle of the night task into something that was within reach. Each staff person sent to our home was courteous and reassuring. more

Make sure DisasterPlus is in your Rolodex because you never know when you're going to need them. 8/2/2013

It was really an anomaly what happened with my pool system. It was something completely and totally unexpected. Nobody's ready to get a phone call at work on a Friday afternoon whereby it's being described to you that your pool is draining 15,000 gallons of water into your garage. You kind of don't know what to do. Fortunately for me, I have a home manager and he had DisasterPlus in his Rolodex. When I got to the house they were on their way and just took control. They were able to bring in pumps and other equipment and basically just said, "Stand aside. Sit down and let us take care of it." I thought it was going to be a lot worse than it was. 24 hrs later my garage was completely dried out and there really wasn't too much damage. My only real expense is with my pool. What had happened was the turbine in the pool vacuum blew up the system. DisasterPlus were totally knowledgeable in what they were doing. They put me totally at ease. I just backed off. I'm definitely a Type A person and my blood pressure didn't get up at all. 48 hrs later it just looked like my garage got a washing. more

Very good in someways, but a little frustrating in others. 5/22/2013

DisasterPlus was good at getting out the water and everything. I was very happy with that. When they took out our floors, though, they could have been a lot more careful because they gouged our floors pretty badly. Technically, I think they're not in that business. They were hired by ServiceMaster but really shouldn't have done that job. But as far as getting the water out, they were excellent. more

I couldn't be happier with the employees and the job they did. 5/10/2013

When you walk into your house and the entire hardwood floor is flooded, you look for a way to get help. I thought of DisasterPlus's ad so I called them. They were there within the hour. They came at 10:30 at night and stayed until 2 am cleaning up the water. Overall it took 5 days to clean up. I'm really happy with the employees, they did a great job. I grew up in the construction business so I am leery of many companies, but I would call DisasterPlus if my house flooded again. more

Made our day! 5/1/2013

These guys are true professionals. April 20th we, my wife and I, had a plumbing issue that flooded our home (We're both 78 years old). We couldn't turn off the main water valve. I called Disaster Plus for help. They arrived within minutes. They were able to turn the main water source off and immediately began to clean up the water mess and dry things out. They came out the next 2 days to check on us and the progress of the drying of the home. Blackwell Johnson was so courteous and sincerely concerned for my wife, me, and our home. If you ever have an unfortunate water disaster, these are the guys to call. more

We had a flood in our house, so we called Disaster Plus. They were here very quickly, the fellow they sent out was very likable, and they came out to clean the carpet after fixing the flooding issue. We were so impressed that we offered to be a recommendation for them on the spot. more

Woke up at 5, found the house flooded, Disaster Plus saved the day. 4/16/2013

I had a hot water line from my water heater rupture and flood the house. Water came into my kitchen, bedroom and living room. Disaster Plus came in and extracted the water, helped to get things straightened up, and got someone in to do repairs. They show up and do what they say they will, when they said they will. They are very professional and I felt comfortable dealing with them. I am very satisfied with their work. more

Extraordinary customer service. 10/16/2012

The ratings are not just for the recent things DisasterPlus has done for me. I have known Fred and Tracy for a long time. Like my business, they are very customer service oriented. They actually go the extra mile to accommodate you by any means they possibly can. The latest work was not very pleasant. A septic tank backed up, and Fred's crew went in and worked many hours in the horrible, hot conditions of the mid-summer. They cleaned the downstairs for the next arrival, which was coming in a couple days. I have no complaints. They did it with a smile on their face, and they came out immediately after I called. I definitely appreciate them in situations like that. They have also done basic work like carpet cleaning and furnishings. I did have one incident where they called and said the work could not be done, but they were honest with us. They told me beforehand there was a good chance a stain could not come out. I appreciate that they don't say something can be done when they know it can't. more

Thorough and detailed. 10/16/2012

They're good people. DisasterPlus is thorough, very thorough, and very detailed. They pulled out equipment I didn't even know existed and were able to grab hold of the problem and solve it to the point where we didn't even have to do any kind of demolition, as far as the wood floors. more
