Worst bar/club in all of San Francisco 2/24/2007

The Dirty Martini is probably the worst managed bar/club in all of San Francisco. We had a party at this place and were promised by management that individuals on our list would be allowed in all night with no cover. However, at 10:30pm the "night manager" decided to say that after 10:30pm everyone would have to pay cover. They yelled at my girlfriend who confronted the manager because they lied to us all. They then proceeded to physically remove her. I will never go here again and will do all I can to make it fail. This place is a disaster. Everyone was disappointed with their experience. This place is massive and it works as a fun girls night spot. We had my sister's bachelorette party here and it was perfect. It wouldn't have been good for a date night and I wouldn't go there to meet my future husband but it works for a night with the girls. Pros: Huuuuuge! Fun 80's music. Cons: Kind of cheesy, but that can be good too more

This is a great place to be, but on the right night. They always play different music so call to see what they are playing. It has a huge bar and a nice size dance floor to shake dat a$$. it seemed like there was a problem with the air conditioning the night i was there. it was so incredibly hot as soon as we walked in. it literally felt like a sauna. considering how big the bar area is, there weren't enough bartenders. the layout is not bad but i just couldn't enjoy myself since it was so hot and sweaty. more

This place has a great lay out, huge bar and very fun dance floor. Unfortunately it's right by fishermans wharf and is always filled with pretty lame people. I went with high hopes because i live walking distance and give it a shot every once in a while either on my way out or way home and have never been impressed with the turn out. Worth a try because they play fun music and have an awesome set up, but be prepared for cheesy gross tourist central. Pros: bar - size Cons: tourists more

Old School Music Rocks!!! 8/10/2006

They play old school music with hillarious old school music videos on its huge screen. It's a great place for dancing. I didn't have a chance to dance while I was there but I couldn't keep from moving to the music while seated. There are plenty of places to sit too! My only gripe was the drinks were a little too light. Pros: Music, venue Cons: drinks not strong enough more
