Designer Floors

Louise made herself available to provide the measurements and was good about being available to help us pick out the floor. The installers (Wilmer and team) were fantastic - on time, respectful and made sure the flooring was put in place 'the right way' .. (we had some leveling issues they called out and fixed before install). We had pre-finish in the entry and kitchen prior and never had any issues. My COMPLAINT is that we were not given more advise on the floor we selected and potential issues that can arise.. As an example, designer floor and interior folks should have told us the impact heavy items can have on the wood floor - for example -- we had no idea the floor would create 'indentions' due to the couch..-- assuming wood floors could support the couch weight w/out having to use something under them. We found out the hard way - and that stinks because there's nothing we can do about it. It makes me question if we got a great price because we got an inferior quality product. (on sale). We had the options of selecting 3/8"", 3/4"" or solid.. Per the advice from Louise, we chose 3/8"" .. kicking myself as I should have chosen a solid... Like the floor overall, but disappointing service since we were not give more guidance and advice prior to install.. more

After four different attempts to get an estimate and get a follow up, including going to the store personally, I gave up. I am not thinking I should beg you to take a substantial amount of money. If the estimate service is this bad I can only think that the installation and follow up would be worse. Once they cancelled saying they had no staff. They lost the estimate. Then after a week, it was still not done. Went to Lowes and got great service, follow up and calls asking if it was satisfactory. more

I read the excellent reviews about Designer Floors and decided to hire them to fix an epic fail from another local flooring company. I will spare you the details, as it took seven months to get what I got from them. What did I get? 1.) A more

I had a hardwood floor installed by Designer Floors with custom border work done & picture framed. I was really appreciative in the detail of my order by Shari (Sales). I completely trusted the foreman and installation crew which allowed me to leave while they make all the noise. Really incredible workmanship and very detailed oriented. Recently remodeled my home. Louise & Shari were great. New hardwood, carpet, tile in the bathroom & granite countertops. Their installers were great. Best of all, there were NO SURPRISES! Not sure about other posting. I had a great experience and James no longer works there. They have a good reputation with the better business bureau. Pros: Knowledgable staff, beautiful showroom more

Had a hardwood floor installed in my home. Spoke with the owner, Louise Frost and set up install. The install foreman James was horrible,very un-professional, terrible install and finishing. We had a very hard time trying to get the finish and other install corrected.We were repetedly turned down to speak with Louise and were stood up on two appointments, HORRIBLE work.
