We've been boarding our horses here for a year. This place has a nice, relaxed atmosphere, and everyone there is friendly. It's not all hoity-toity like other boarding facilities ...

Very Pleasant 2/17/2012

My friend and I went on a trail ride with guides from the farm. The guides were very knowledgeable about the horses and trails. It's a nice trek that takes you around through different terrain. It's definitely a good trail for a beginner on horseback. Pam is the manager of the business. She's very nice and walks you through everything. more

I have always wanted to learn how to ride a horse so I heard about Desert Rose and decided to see what it was all about. They were very friendly here. They were very patient and were very good at explaining how to stay calm while on the horse. more

Thanks a lot for having us over. Our girls had a wonderful time. Please convey our sincere thanks for being very patient with them. Also appreciate the extra time spent to answer their questions. Our thanks to all the girls there who helped the girl scouts learn basic riding skills, feed and groom the horses. more

My Horse Loves Boarding @ Desert Rose Ranch! I've had my horse @ Desert Rose for almost a year now and we have never been so happy! The lady who owns this beautiful farm is very gracious and takes wonderful care of the property and the horses. The trainers are knowledgeable instructors and horse care providers. more

Great Facility 1/16/2012

If you're a veteran rider or a novice who's always wanted to give riding a shot, you will be equally welcomed. If your child has been bugging you for horseback riding lessons, go for it! In my opinion there's no better outlet: through horseback riding they can learn the subtleties of communication with both horses and people, the responsibility of caring for an animal, the self-confidence that comes from competing with true sportsmanship. more

Desert Rose is professionally run. It has a clean facility and experienced trainers, excellent selection of well trained horses for all ages and levels of riders! Customer satisfaction is top priority of management. Well worth the money!! more

Highly Recommended! 12/16/2011

I'm in a riding program at Desert Rose (which is also a great place to board if you have a horse). They teach beginner through advanced students with or without horses (they have several you can take lessons on). Everyone there is caring, fun and can cater to a variety of ages and experience levels. They obviously care about their students and the horses. Everyone's level of expertise is evident in their teaching and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this place for anyone just starting out, those who are experienced with their own horses, and everyone in-between. They teach safety, correct technique and all of the lessons are fun! more
