My wife had 20 / 800 vision. She went to Dr. Deschamps to have tests run to see if she was a candidate for Lasik Surgery. They said she was. She'd been wearing glasses and/or contacts since the 4th grade. After the tests were completed she was scheduled for surgery 4 days later. After the surgery was completed she was scheduled to come back the next day to be evaluated. On the day after surgery her vision was already back to 20/20!!! It was unbelievable! One month later she was tested again and her vision was rated at 20/10. That's better than normal vision! It's been a couple of years now since the surgery and her vision is still 20/10. Although the surgery was expensive it was worth every penny.
