I had a major fear of dentists. I went to Dental Care of Muskogee for mouth pain and was made an immediate appointment, had an exam and set up for treatment of the initial problem. This was very quick and professional. I then proceeded for my cleaning and full exam. I was given a treatment plan, fully explained and the associated costs were also explained, including what my insurance would and would not pay. Once a payment plan/agreement was reached I began my treatment. I have experienced pain free professional service at every visit. My blood pressure used to go up during a dental appointment and I hated going, therefore I didn't for 8 years and that is what got me in the situation I was in when I initially contacted Dental Care of Muskogee. Dr. Shankle is my dentist but I have had to call after hours for a temporary crown issue and spoke to Dr. McCall. They are available for you, instruct you what to do and inform you if you need them they will come in after hours. I only used the gas for my initial treatment visit and after that, I no longer felt any anxiety and have not used the gas since then. I no longer fear the dentist. I would definately recommend this office to anyone. They are ALL professional and friendly, it's a clean comfortable environment with TV's and headphones to utilize during your treatment. My experience has been nothing but positive with little to no pain, always having been informed of what was going on, and the assistants (and Dr. Shankle) make my visits fun and comfortable. Never thought I would say it but I will actually miss going to the dentist when my treatment is finished! Now who can say that about their dentist???
