This may sound odd but people actually go to the hospital to eat their meals. When we often hear that hops ital food is not good, this is an exception. The cafeteria serves meals every day and the food is excellent. Prices are reasonable and each day there re three specials-two different sandwiches and an entrée plus soup. the menus are printed every Sunday in the local paper. The sandwich specials are $1.96 and the entrée or special feature is $3.00. Soup is $1.10/bowl and 60 cents/cup. the cafeteria is located in the basement and overlooks a patio that the center continues to develop with seating and landscaping. When the special is Mexican or Italian or some kind of salad, the cost is based on weight. The decor is fairly plain. Staff is very friendly and the cook does an awesome job. It is a place where a lot of people go after church on Sunday and for those on a limited income, it is a great place to go for good food and reasonable, prices. Parking is available int he lot at the front of the building and you can either take the elevator or the stairs to the lower level.
