Decor Store

This store has beautiful things and I have been a regular customer for several years. Based on my recent experience I will never step foot in this store again. I was putting on a reception and 5 days prior to the party I purchased $200 in packaged fabric decoration for the tables. I ended up having less guests then expected. I needed to return 3 unopened packages with receipt. I went the first day after the event to return these items only to find out that they close early and I missed it by 10 minutes. The 2nd day was a Sun. On the 3rd day I went back only to be told by 2 rude individuals I did not make their 3 day return policy and they wouldn't even give me store credit. Business must be so good that customer service and losing customers is of no concern to this owner. more

This is a fantastic place! I have been shoping with them for years at the Simi Valley and Westlake Village stores - now I have to drive 500 miles to shop with them, but it's sooo worth it. The staff has always been great to work with - they are very friendly and knowledgable...Don't even get me started on the wonderful selection and amazingly inexpensive prices. You'd have to be crazy not to love this place:) Just a hint - make sure you know what you are looking for before you go - (size, color, price range...) you can be overwhelmed easily. I understand their return policy - not everyone can afford to be Nordstrom. If they didn't have a tight return policy people would use it for one event and then return it. Pros: IF YOU CAN'T FIND IT THERE YOU DON'T NEED IT. Cons: SO MUCH TO SEE THAT IT CAN BE OVERWHELMING. more

Decor has unique, specialized and quality inventory the likes of which I have never seen in the same place at any one time. Furthermore they will specialize, modify or even custimize any item to fit your home. If you still can't find the perfect item, they will make it especially for you---And best of all, the prices can't be beat!!! I know, I have designed many, many homes--decor is my lifeline.
