De Ja Vu Consignment Shop

Big Time Ripoff - don't sell your clothes to this shop. I was grossly underpaid for name brand items (including a brand new winter jacket that was featured in the window). The jacket quickly disappeared within days yet I was told it had to be reduced and reduced in order for it to be sold. My other clothes also disappeared quickly but was told they also had to be dropped to rock bottom prices. Not one item was returned to me. Shop there if you like but know you're dealing with a dishonest person. more

I have been shopping and consigning at Dejave since they opened and I love it ! The owner Diane is great and I have never had any issues with getting my money. The requirements of consigning are very simple(as long as you can read which I guess some poeple can't) she has a pay day once a month and you sign a contract saying you can come in on the last sunday of the month with which she gives you four months to do so..All we consignors have to do is bring it in clean and come in once a month NOT THAT HARD.To the poeple writing bad reviews sounds like you didnt read the contract properly.I have lots of friends who consign also and have never had a problem.This is the best shop around and the owner is very HONEST and a very KIND person !!!! more

Don't sell your clothing here! She lies and is a cheat! Brought in two large bags of clean, name brand clothing in excellent condition. She picked out the very best out of them and said I could collect at the end of the month. I went in with a friend two weeks later and there was not much left of what she had taken from me. The lowest price tag on my items left on the racks that she was selling was $12.00......she told me at the end of the month she hadn't sold any of my items! After two months and her having over forty of my name brand quality items I made $15.00. I could have made more money with a yard sale and selling my items for .50 to 1.00......and I would have gotten more than that I assure you. Just saying having a yard sale and selling what you have on the cheap would pay off double what this lady will end up giving you! more

Never do consignment with this store if you care anything about profitting off of your clothes. She designates 1 day every other month as a pay day and offers 2-3 ""pay days."" I missed mine on November 28th by one day and she told me that everything had sold but she couldn't print me a check til the next pay day on Jan. 30th. I went on that day and she told me that nothing ever sold and that she was sorry. I lost $100-200. more

I had never considered purchasing second hand clothing until I stumbled upon this hidden jewel in down town Dover, NH. The wowen who run this shop have excellent taste and only accept in style, in season, and well kept clothing. I would highly recommend De JaVu to others. After one visit, I became addicted and now stop in there once a week. more
