De Hart's Auke Bay Store

I work that DeHart's and loved my Job..I work and lived up stairs at this cute little store and never had I seen a dog or dogs behind the counter just was not done!!!! as for the cooks they did an amazing job as this store was busy at lunch and would serve as many as 50 to 100 for lunch, as far as having clean hair..they always look clean..Away..I had a blast working there..every one got along as soon as they hired all new crew such as myself..I will say the crew that they fired try to start more trouble then do a good job..I feel this could very well be who wrote the reviews here as its the time frame the New owners fired them... \r Trust me when I say the food they make is always fresh,.hot, given with a smile..\r thank you Pat and Terry for a wonderful chance to learn so much from you., I had a lot of fun my first few months with you..Id work for this family any time and place..they where like family..\r we hope you all do well,live long and happy...\r kim olson\r from tacoma wash.. Please understand that under the management during the time I worked there, 2002-2005, it was CLEAN and I was the cook. NO animals were allowed in the store and my hair was constantly pulled back and had a tie-dye bandanna on. IF U had any kind of unsanitary problem, please report it to the local inspectors! The store goes through inspections once a year but can be every 3 months if conditions require extra supervision. I FEEL SO BAD FOR ANYONE THAT GOES INTO THE STORE NOW! SOUNDS LIKE A LOT HAS CHANGED SINCE IT HAS BEEN SOLD TO NEW OWNERS. My apologies for those that go to this store. I would recommend anyone to NOT eat here!!! atleast until the conditions of the store have improved! look in the Juneau Empire for restaurant/food service reviews for any inspections failures by the local law enforcement.
