Davis Child Care Ctr

My daughter went to 4K at Davis and loved it. Since then, elementary school has been challenging for my little introvert due to the large number of kids. She has never felt comfortable at other daycares closer to our house, either. In the past, my daughter's grandma has been picking her up early one day a week from other daycares to give her a little break. Because she is having so much fun and feeling so comfortable, for the first time ever, she'd rather stay at Davis than have grandma pick her up. Also, she has started standing up for herself with other kids this summer. I am thrilled to have her at Davis and I am confused about the reviews about how Davis "seems." I wanted to write a review from the perspective of a parent whose child is actually attending Davis. more

Our son has been going to Davis for several months. He was previously at another Oshkosh area preschool and while they were lovely people and treated him well, he never really "clicked" there. At Davis, the connection with his teacher and the other kids in his class was immediate. Every day he learns something new and is always excited to tell me about something they did at school. My favorite thing about Davis is the fact that the kids are given ample opportunity to be outside, even when it's cold. My son loves to be outside, and Davis has loads of beautiful playground equipment for him to explore and a park-like setting for the kids to run around in. When the weather is too harsh to go outside, kids can still run and play in a large, inspirationally-decorated large muscle room. Davis is full of educated and compassionate teachers and the classes are kept small. They serve the children nutritious and interesting food each day and really get to know each child as an individual. Sending our son to Davis was one of the best decisions we made upon moving to Oshkosh. more

Davis child care center is a very poor daycare center for a child and i would sooner take them anywhere else then here. they do take infants to children age 11 and are open monday through friday from six in the morning to six at night but they don't seem like the place my child would be comfortable staying for any period of time. nor would i feel comfortable leaving my child here, they just didn't seem right. more
