Service tech's seem to be very good at what they do. They are also always nice and explain what the problem is. The problem with mine is I bought a brand new David Weekley home with what was supposed to be the top of the line ac unit. We have been here 3 and a half years now and Iv'e had the techs here 8 times on different very big problems. 4 of the times my ac completely quit running. 2 of those times i was told it would be Monday before it would be fixed. I have 3 kids under 4 years old. When I asked if they could maybe bring some portable a/c's I was told I was on my own. All weekend in the summer with three kids is a very long time. It is under warranty and they have covered every repair, but as soon as this warranty runs out I will be responsible for costs on an a/c unit that has never worked correctly from the start. I would use Davis A/C for repairs on this current a/c but I don't know if I would ever buy a new unit from them. more

Professional, On Time and On Budget 5/2/2011

My first experience with Davis A/C came about from my interest in Geothermal technology and the possibilities for my home. After looking through their impressive geothermal website, I was put in contact with a salesman who listened to my questions and spent quite some time answering everything I put to him honestly and expertly. After some education as to the requirements, we determined that geothermal wasn't going to work in my application and from there we explored other options. I ended up going with a 17 SEER system that has drastically improved the comfort in my home as well as my energy usage. The staff at Davis is exceptional and the price that you are quoted is the price that you pay unless you make the choice to add on after the fact. I took several bids and decided on Davis because of their knowledge, experience and desire to do the job the right way the first time. more

Most professional sales and installation 6/4/2010

My first experience with Davis was several years ago when a competitor told me my A/C was shot. I had Davis give me a second opinion. They said the unit was old and cheap, but was running exceptionally well. Pros: Every promise met, great system and very attentive staff Cons: None more

They show a lack of knowledge and ethics. Totally installed system wrong including ductwork, how they fitted the ducts up to the system, return air size etc. They claimed to have done a heat zone report but will not show it to me nor the plans. Have basically no air coming out of two bedrooms and will fix warranty work if you agree to buy more services from them. They told me one week that they would fix the ducts then the next week said they wouldn't do anything. Now they'll fix them IF I pay them to do other warranty work so they get something out of it. Even their own service technician told me whomever installed this system didn't know what they were doing. I told him that his company installed it. I would definitely stay away from this company at all cost. Pros: Not much Cons: Unreliable more
